Martha Stewart paid tribute on Instagram in memoriam of her beloved pet peacocks who were killed in a coyote ambush that took place in "broad daylight."

But as Stewart featured one of the birds in her flock, "Blue Boy," flaunting his striking, feathery features in a video clip, the accompanying song choice was one that you wouldn't expect a person in mourning would use.

A clip of the late peacock strutting his stuff was paired with Marvin Gaye's sensual hit, “Let’s Get It On."

She informed followers the sultry song choice was not intentional.

"And by the way i do not have any idea how the marvin gaye music found it’s way to this sad post but when Blue Boy was alive it would have been perfectly appropriate."

A the beginning of her post, the homemaker guru and founder of Omnimedia wrote, "RIP beautiful BlueBoy," and asked followers for ideas on enacting vengeance against the predators.

"The coyotes came in broad daylight and devoured him and five others including the magnificent White Boy. Any solutions for getting rid of six large and aggressive coyotes who have expensive tastes when it comes to poultry??"

Stewart mentioned the precautionary measures she has taken to prevent similar attacks in the future.

"We are no longer allowing the peafowl out of their yard, we are enclosing the top of their large yard with wire fencing etc."

In May, Stewart defended her peacocks in a Twitter post and argued her 21 "glorious birds" were "so clean" and "so friendly."

Followers expressed their sympathies.

Stewart wrote about her peacocks on The Martha Stewart Blog in July 2020.

“I visit these beautiful birds every day," she wrote, adding, "I love calling out to them and waiting for their energetic responses. My peacocks are doing exceptionally well and remain active, curious, and very, very vocal."

She added:

"Peacocks and peahens are very smart, docile, and adaptable birds. They are also quite clever and very curious."

The loss of her peacocks came just months after her cat Princess Peony was fatally attacked by her four dogs.

On Instagram, she posted a picture of her beloved calico Persian's final resting place being prepared.

"Burying the beautiful and unusual Princess Peony," wrote Stewart. "The four dogs mistook her for an interloper and killed her defenseless little self. i will miss her very badly . RIP beauty."

The publisher of Martha Stewart Living magazine is known for having an impressive menagerie on her estate in Bedford, New York.

She once wrote that her mini "ark" included, "at least 20 cats, 25 dogs, 10 chinchillas, scores of canaries and parakeets, two ponies, three donkeys, 10 horses, many sheep and goats, hundreds of chickens, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, quail, peacocks, and homing pigeons."

Tucker Carlson Dragged After His Conspiracy Theory Prediction About Trump's Speech Is Way Off

Former Fox News personality turned far-right podcaster Tucker Carlson was widely mocked after he made a bold prediction about what President Donald Trump would announce during his primetime address to the nation on Wednesday—namely that the U.S. would go to war with Venezuela.
