The Marvel star shared a video of his progress as he walked on the treadmill as part of his physical therapy following his snowplow accident on New Year's Day.

Jeremy Renner is on the mend after a snowplow accident left him hospitalized with over 30 broken bones on New Year's Day.

The twice Oscar nominated actor best known for playing Clint Barton/Hawkeye in MCU films and the Disney+ series of the same name was airlifted to a hospital after he was rolled over by his “at least 14,330-pound” snow plow near his Reno, Nevada property on January 1, 2023.

On Sunday morning, the Avengers actor updated fans on making significant strides during physical therapy by posting a video of himself using an anti-gravity treadmill.

In the clip, Renner explained to another individual not on camera that using the hi-tech unit enabled his legs to walk by using "less weight" and it was like "having a cane." Due to other injuries use of a cane isn't possible at this time.

He confirmed he was going through the actual motion of walking but only using "40% of my weight."

The video was captioned with:

"I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will."

It was followed with the hashtags: #mindful #intended and #recovery.

Here is the clip of the Marvel actor in action toward a path to recovery.

Anti-gravity treadmills like the one seen used by Renner contain NASA-patented technology to reduce as much as 80% body weight to enable athletes in training and medical patients alike to help achieve their personal health and performance goals.

These types of treadmills that control air pressure were originally designed for astronauts to exercise and maintain their conditioning while in space.

Social media users continued cheering Renner on for his hopeful progress and full recovery.

Those familiar with the physical therapy process were inspired to share their own stories.

Renner was rolled over by an "extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment" as he was clearing his driveway and helping neighbors remove snow after significant snowfall in the area.

His representative said the actor suffered "blunt chest trauma and orythopedic injuries" and underwent surgery the day after he was taken to a local hospital.

Since then, Renner has been updating fans on his recovery journey on social media–including with a post on January 21 in which he shared a photo of him in bed with a physical therapist who appeared to be working on his leg.

The Mayor of Kingstown and Rennervations star told fans at the time:

"Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love."

After expressing his gratitude for all the support for him and thoughtfulness for his family, he added:

"These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens."
