Two time Oscar winner, Hilary Swank, married social venture entrepreneur Philip Schneider before riding off into the night Burning Man style.

The star of Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby walked down the aisle surrounded in redwood trees is a beautiful outdoor wedding. Swank says the day was perfect, Swank told Vogue Magazine about the location saying:

We found exactly what we were looking for at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California. It's a stunning private community surrounded by 20,000 acres of conservancy and an intimate redwood grove populated with trees that are over 800 years old.

Guests, including bridesmaid and best friend Mariska Hargitay danced late into the night, wearing headphones so as not to disturb the neighbors, before jumping on bicycles and peddling back to their rooms. Swank described the bikes as playful if not overly beautiful in a Burning Man kind of way.

We ended the night riding back to our rooms on bicycles decorated Burning Man–style with LED lights and streamers by our friend's children. They weren't pretty, but they sure made a statement!

And as for that dress she says:

I wanted something romantic that felt as timeless as the redwood grove where we were to be married, and he delivered—designing something that far surpassed my greatest expectations. It was everything I imagined and more.

Take a look at the stunning photos.
