Captain Marvel, the latest addition to the Marvel cinematic universe, is already a smash hit, grossing more than $500 million worldwide. And it looks Brie Larson, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel herself, has a big fan in Gal Gadot, who played none other than Wonder Woman in DC's 2017 hit.

Earlier today, Gadot extended her support to Larson in a post she shared to her Instagram story. The post consisted of a drawing by 17-year-old artist @maxyartwork of Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman linking arms.

This made the young artist quite happy, as you can imagine!

Gadot wasn't the only one to send well wishes to Larson.

Patty Jenkins, her Wonder Woman director, also tweeted a message of support.

And fans are just thrilled to see one superhero supporting another:

This about sums it up, though:

We'd love to see these two fighting supervillains in a movie sometime. When universes collide!
