Exotic Dancers Reveal Insider Secrets About Strip Clubs

Don't eat at the buffet!

Dancers and sex workers are honest, hard working people just like the rest of us. Their jobs are faaaar from easy. They need to have physical stamina and mental dexterity if they want to rake in all that coin. Yes I'm serious. And often the places they work at are less than... "5 star rated." The atmosphere at a strip club and the club itself is often a character in the stories for sure.

Redditor u/babybopp asked sexy dance artists... Strippers of reddit, what are some things that happen in strip clubs we are not aware of?

These girls be superhuman!!

So many impressive physical feats, and I'm not talking about the pole tricks.

I used to work with a girl who was flexible, but her knee would occasionally just slip out of place. She'd elegantly punch it back into place and finish her set before chugging pain meds and icing it. Nobody would know the difference. Another girl I knew would get walk-into-walls drunk, yet always knew her exact amount of money and could do a standing split at the edge of a stage in 8 inch heels no matter how trashed. I once watched a 4'11" dancer nearly rock a vending machine over on herself because she wanted a snack. Same girl saved herself and another dancer from a 10 foot fall off the pole when the other girl lost her grip and they both dropped. Sheer force of thigh. Best coworkers ever. ioantha

Where they Jimmy Choo's?

I used to hang out between classes at the club my friend bartended at in the middle of the day. It was winter and I could smoke inside and ladies got in free. Plus all the free popcorn and soda. Real classy place.

I watched a friendly game of hide-the-shoe between a few of the girls when it was completely dead inside. The girl on stage after her turn would take the shoe of the next girl, climb a pole, and hide it in the ceiling. The next girl would find her shoe and then proceed to hide the next girls shoe in a different ceiling tile. I was fascinated by this.

Strippers have down time and get bored at work just like every other job. You have to make it fun during the boring times.

Did we just see that?

My first time in a strip club was at a tiny place that was completely deserted prior to our arrival. When we walked in there was a stripper being hog tied by a scrawny DJ with all the other staff watching and laughing. The second they saw us everyone scurried away and quickly tried to go back to normal. It was the strangest experience ever. Hidden_Samsquanche

Ka-Ching!

Less typically attractive girls tend to still make insane money as desperate men think they have a chance to score with them so will pay big money to spend time in V.I.P with them. These girls know this and milk the men for everything before leaving them for the next desperate customer.

Mom's are the best!

Sometimes there are "house moms" who run the dressing rooms. Sometimes the house mom is a gay guy. Sometimes he is tasked with trimming or tucking in a girl's tampon string so it doesn't show when she is nude on stage. Ultra-PowerfulCutex

Looney Tunes...

In Alberta, Canada we can throw loonies (dollar coins) at the strippers. They make games out of it by placing other coins on their body and making you throw loonies to knock them off. Herb1515

Weigh in...

Not a stripper, but dated one for over a year, she used to get weighed before each shift. There was an agreed weight each girl had to make based on their height & measurements and if they didn't make it they weren't allowed to work that shift. hihohorazio

Clean Up in the back!

A stripper once told me she didn't want to work at a certain other club because they had Kleenex in the private rooms. tewnewt

Good call, paper towels are rougher but they are way more absorbent. HutSutRawlson

That's a lot to deal with...

I was a strip club DJ for several years, worked lunchtime and night shifts 7 days a week, in a country far away, where sex and nudity weren't allowed on the same premises. Half the time the DJ booth was in the dressing room, other half I'm in and out of the room because organizing strippers is like herding cats. Prostitutes looked down upon the strippers as 'silly young girls,' strippers looked down upon the prostitutes as 'mental old woman.' The ages of each were the same. They both were right.

Our strippers were waged, with odd instances of earning extra money via tipping (rarely 'cause not a thing in our country), 'doing a stag on stage,' out calls, or performing the special acts each night.

Routine was 3 songs minimum (girls choose music), full dress one song, top off next, bottom off for entire duration of 3rd song. One girl is on stage for around 10 minutes. Then can relax for however many girls on that night x 10 mins each. Allowed to drink, relaxed about Pot. Girls often sat/chatted/flirted with customers out of boredom, and for tips. Never saw a girl take a customer home. Tampon string and no scissors? Burn it off with a cigarette and a steady hand.

Each girl has her desk/area/mirror - don't mess with anything in it, or on it, and don't cross the boundary. Strippers boyfriend in? No other stripper is allowed near him. Unexpected real life friend/acquaintance/relative in the club? No dance - free holiday. Strippers always have 2 names - their real name and a stage name/s, that way they know who is talking to them during the day - customer, or friend of a friend.

Girls have their own invisible unsaid pecking order. Any problems with new strippers were basically about where to fit in to that order. A strip club is like any other job - after a while it gets boring and repetitive, yes - even with nude beautiful woman around you all the time. lurker1101

Be Yourself!!

Not a stripper but managed a strip club for 2 years.

The main thing that I found interesting is that being hot isn't the main thing that will determine success.

The girls that make the best money are the girls with strong personalities, that will create a connection that will make the customer want to pay to stay in the moment.

Also the amount of money that some people spend. We have several customers that will spend anywhere between $5000 and $15000 a night on dances alone, and do this multiple nights every week. ReturnoftheKlown

Vivek Ramaswamy Dragged After Showing Off His Awkward Baseball Swing In Cringey Batting Cage Campaign Video

Billionaire former Republican presidential and current Ohio GOP gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy's athletic prowess is being derided online after his campaign posted a video of him hitting baseballs in a batting cage on Instagram and TikTok on Tuesday.

The ribbing got so bad that the Ramaswamy campaign pulled the video off Instagram, leaving up only a similar one from June in which he wields a tennis racket. Unfortunately for them, plenty of people had already made and shared copies across social media where the merciless mockery continued.
