The pop crooner is officially taken.

Singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, before the new year.

An Instagram post clearly captures the 26-year-old's affection for his fiancée, declaring, "We are very happy and in love."

Seaborn is a risk advisory consultant, but she was also a British hockey star who helped lead the U21 Women's Squad score a bronze medal victory at the 2012 European Championships.

The two sweethearts have known each other since high school, but their romance is a recent development, thanks to Sheeran's BFF -- Taylor Swift.

The "Bad Blood" pop singer invited Seaborn to Swift's Independence Day bash held at the singer's home in Rhode Island.

Sheeran told People he's known Seaborn since he was 11-years old.

She worked on Wall Street in New York, and I had like six shows [around New York in 2015]. It was around then, and we reconnected. I went on tour again, and then I went to Taylor's 4th of July party. I was texting [Seaborn], and she was like, 'I'm in Rhode Island at a 4th of July party,' and I was like, 'So am I.' I kinda said to Taylor, 'Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?' The rest is history.

Twitter couldn't be more elated for the red-haired crooner.

Despite some broken hearts, fans approve of the singer's exciting news.

Fans are already looking forward to the impact his engagement will have on the next album

Sheeran knew he found 'the one' when Seaborn helped him through a rough period. The singer had slipped into the "pitfalls of fame" and took some time off the road after battling drug addiction.

"I think you need to, when you get into the industry, adjust to it," he told the host of The Jonathan Ross Show last October. "[A]nd I didn't adjust because I was constantly working on tour. And all the pitfalls that people read about, I just found myself slipping into all of them. Mostly, like, substance abuse."

Fortunately, the time he took off from the road helped him focus on getting himself back on track.

I focused on work, and I can't work under the influence, I can't write songs under the influence, I can't perform under the influence — so the more I worked the less [that happened]. I've worked my whole life to get to where I am and you can't lose that over something that you do in your spare time.

The pair recently moved in together, and he's ready to start a family. But rest assured, he will not be giving up his music career.

I wanted to be a dad, like, last year. I'm ready, let's go - tour bus babies, little fat, chubby babies that just walk around.

Congratulations, Ed! We wish you two much happiness up in your "Castle on the Hill."

X CEO Resigns Day After AI Chatbot Grok Praised Hitler In Alarming Series Of Antisemitic Tweets

Linda Yaccarino—the former NBC Universal executive who later took the reins at X—stepped down as CEO of billionaire Elon Musk's platform after two years on the job just a day after Grok, the platform's AI chatbot, went on antisemitic rants and openly praised Adolf Hitler.

Grok issued deeply antisemitic responses on Tuesday following a reported software update that encouraged the bot to embrace what developers described as the “politically incorrect.” Taking that directive to heart, Grok responded with a series of disturbing posts that included praise for Hitler and even a statement expressing its aspiration to become a “digital version” of the Nazi leader.
