Sometimes peeing can feel really, really good. Orgasmic even. But doctors are saying that this is a pleasure to avoid.

It all started with an innocent question from Reddit user, TheCatfishManatee.

Many people came forward admitting to the thrill.

Dr. Dean Elterman, a urologic surgeon, explained the sensation.

"The pelvic nerves are all intimately related and often branch off of common nerves. The same nerve roots in the bottom of the spinal cord, for example, branch out and some go to the bladder, the urethra and the clitoris. Some women may get a similar sensation because they share nerves."

Reddit user ForMissEmilie was onto something. Both Drs. Elterman and gynecologist Charlotte Elder warns against them.

Dr. Elder said,

"Bladders need to be treated with respect. It's important to go when you need to go, not when you're busting,"

Dr. Elterman went further saying,

"If you chronically hold it, the bladder can get larger and the muscle can get thinner to the point where you can't squeeze out the urine. People who chronically hold their urine end up with urinary retention."

Bladder damage can be incredibly harmful and sometimes can't be fixed. Holding in urine too long can also lead to urinary tract infections (UTIs).

This sensation is news to some.

So, while there's no judgement here, maybe it's safer to get your kicks someplace other than the porcelain throne.

Trump Gets U.S. Military Troops To Boo Democrats And 'Fake News' During Alarming Speech

Members of the military stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, erupted in boos when President Donald Trump goaded them during a speech in which he attacked former President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the "fake news" covering the ongoing protests in L.A. in response to the Trump administration's immigration raids.

The military has a longstanding tradition of remaining nonpartisan so it was striking that those in attendance, many of whom wore military fatigues, booed in the first place.
