Radio personality and former Partridge Family actor Danny Bonaduce announced he will be undergoing brain surgery.
This comes after he took a leave of absence from his radio show in late 2022 as he and his medical team worked to diagnose what was then a mystery illness.
It turns out Bonaduce has hydrocephalus—or "water on the brain"—and will be undergoing brain surgery to correct the issue. First, he will receive a shunt to remove the pressure on his brain, then further surgery will be explored.
He revealed he currently cannot walk.
He remained optimistic about his future post-surgery.
"I can't walk, currently. I just can't....I'm never gonna box again, but if I can get from here to the kitchen on my own, then Bravo!"
People were quick to wish Bonaduce a safe and healthy recovery after such uncertainty while his medical team figured out what was going on.

\u201c@desand222 @TheDoochMan @TMZ It is tough seeing friends, family and celebs go from a strong person to frail and vulnerable. So tough.\u201d— Danny Bonaduce (@Danny Bonaduce) 1685720004
Bonaduce's surgery and recovery will keep from his radio work a bit longer, but he and his medical team remain optimistic.
