The Democratic Rep. sent 'thoughts and prayers' to the MAGA Rep. after she only placed 5th in a Colorado straw poll of GOP voters.

Things are not looking good for far-right MAGA lunatic—er, Republican Colorado Representative, Lauren Boebert's 2024 reelection campaign.

Boebert shocked everyone when she finished in just fifth place in a recent straw poll of GOP candidates in Colorado's fourth district, where she has decided to run in November since defeat in her current seat in Colorado's third district looked all but assured this November.

And Democratic Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett just couldn't help but throw some subtle but incisive shade at her colleague because of it.

Crockett took to X, fka Twitter, to drag Boebert with a riff on Republicans' favorite response any time there's a mass shooting in this country:

“Before I go to bed, I thought it would only be fitting to send 'thoughts & prayers' to my colleague, Lauren Boebert. It’s my understanding that she placed 5th in her first straw poll of the election cycle."

Crockett went on to mock Boebert's frequent rhetoric about election polls.

"Now how many of y’all think BoBo gonna try to convince us that polls don’t matter… of course unless they are trash for Biden & great for Trump!”

In a debate held in Colorado last week, Boebert's fellow Republicans lambasted her as a "carpetbagger" after she hastily announced she would not seek reelection in CO-03, where she actually lives, and where she won reelection in 2022 by just 546 votes.

Instead, she's running for Republican Representative Ken Buck's seat in CO-04 after he announced his retirement from Congress.

In the straw poll that followed the debate, the assembled crowd audibly gasped when she garnered just 10% of the vote.

Straw polls aren't particularly scientific, so it doesn't necessarily mean Boebert's goose is cooked. But considering her national profile and MAGA bona fides, it's not a great sign for her to came in second or third, let alone fifth.

Many on social media are of course downright gleeful about Boebert's misfortune,

And people loved Crockett's snappy response.

Anyway, be best, Lauren.

Beaten DC Cop Coughs NSFW Message At MAGA Rep. For Blaming Jan. 6 On Capitol Leadership

Michael Fanone—who worked for the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department for 20 years until he sustained serious and life-threatening injuries during the January 6 insurrection—didn't take kindly to Texas Republican Representative Troy Nehls trying to blame the attack on the "U.S. Capitol leadership team" instead of President Donald Trump.

Nehls spoke during a hearing where Jack Smith, the former special prosecutor who led two failed prosecutions against Trump for inciting the insurrection, defended the integrity of his investigation.
