Coleen Rooney, the wife of former English soccer star Wayne Rooney, told her fellow reality show castaways on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! about the gross comment President Trump made about her when she visited the White House for Christmas in 2018.

Media personality Coleen Rooney, the wife of former English soccer star Wayne Rooney, told her fellow reality show castaways on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! about the gross comment then-President Donald Trump made about her when she visited the White House for Christmas in 2018.

In footage aired this weekend on ITV’s Australian jungle-based show, Rooney recalled meeting Trump in December 2018 while her husband was playing for MLS team D.C. United.

She recalled:

“When we lived in America, we were invited to the White House for Christmas and we went in to meet ... so it was Donald Trump."
"So we walked in and we got to get the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree and stuff. So Donald Trump said to his son, ‘See? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good-looking girls.’"
"And I told my mum. I was like, ‘Dirty bastard.’”

When another cast member asked her if Trump "really is that orange," she replied:

“He was very orange.”

You can hear what she said in the video below.

People were grossed out—and laughed over her admission.

The comments are unsurprising from Trump, who has long been criticized for making sexist, misogynistic, and demeaning remarks about women—and certainly made many about Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election campaign.

But we're talking about the man who has even made headlines over remarks he's made about his own daughter, so why would Rooney be any different?
