In August of last year, comedian, actor and producer Billy Eichner shared a screenshot to Twitter revealing he had just been blocked by country artist Carrie Underwood.

He captioned the tweet:

"ICONIC"

At the time, Eichner did not provide an explanation, but his fans speculated—based on accounts Underwood followed—the block may have been political in nature.

On Monday, Eichner sat down with Andy Cohen to talk about his new movie Bros on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when a fan inquired about the famous block.

Eichner called being blocked by Underwood "a great honor."

"Carrie Underwood blocked me on Twitter, which I consider a great honor. It was one of the great thrills of my life."

Eichner then began to recount the incident.

"During the height of COVID, she retweeted a speech about how kids shouldn't have to wear masks in schools, letting her political views be known for the first time."
"I guess I made some jokes about that on Twitter, and she didn't like that."

Trump Official Tries To Claim Antifa Is Top National 'Threat'—Then Flails Over Simple Questions

Michael Glasheen, the operations director of the National Security Branch, was criticized after he told members of Congress that Antifa is "the most immediate violent threat" to the U.S. and could not answer simple questions to justify his claim.

Antifa is a loose network of anti-fascist activists with no central structure, no funding, no membership roster, and no offices or leadership hierarchy for prosecutors to target. Despite this, President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order declaring it a "domestic terror organization," a move that's been celebrated by his supporters.

Her solo work like "What You Waiting For?" continued themes of frustration, identity, and breaking female stereotypes.
