Numerous unlikely paths have crossed in the era of President Donald Trump.

America's first reality TV star President is living up to his claim to fame.

Kanye West had an erratic Oval Office conversation with Trump.

The President's first press secretary Sean Spicer ended up on Dancing with the Stars.

Donald Trump Jr. called for a potential pardon of felon-turned-Netflix-star Joe Exotic.

And now Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose is roasting the President's Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on Twitter.

Yup, you read that right.

On Wednesday evening, Rose posted a tweet calling Mnuchin an "asshole."

Even more mindbogglingly, Mnuchin responded.

But in his original tweet, Mnuchin mistakenly included the Liberian flag in his response, later deleting it and replacing it with the American flag.

But it was too late.

Rose had already seen the deleted tweet and quickly called Mnuchin out.

So far, Mnuchin has wisely kept silent instead of responding to Axl Rose's latest takedown.

That doesn't mean the rest of the internet did.

Mnuchin probably shouldn't have responded to Rose with the question, "what have you done for the country lately?"

It was the perfect setup.

Mnuchin has repeatedly found himself in hot water for his boasting and general ineptitude. People were glad to see him owned by such an unlikely person.

Welcome to the jungle, Steve.
