Would you grab your magnifying glass and hunting cap a la Sherlock Holmes and search for some clues after finding a stray women's product under your significant other's wardrobe?

TikTok user @loissa4 did after finding a tampon and some mascara in her boyfriend's room.


With the evidence in hand, she began poking further into the reasons for these items being in his room.

In order to discern where these mysterious materials came from, the original poster, or OP, emailed Tampax with the code on the side of the product so she could tell approximately how long that tampon had been in the room.

To her surprise, Tampax replied with the helpful information that the tampon was manufactured in December 2019.

As it turns out, though, the original poster and her current boo were not together in 2019. They weren't even officially together when she found the tampon, and he was completely flummoxed when she found them.

Eventually, it came out that, before him, girls had lived their in student housing and may have possibly left the items in the house when they moved out.

Our original poster said she totally believed him because the timeline did not match the timeline that she and he had been speaking.

Our original poster said that she and the man are still happily seeing each other, and that no further inexplicable women's products have been uncovered in suspicious areas of his residence.
