The Destiny's Child member met the Dawson's Creek star after a performance of Death Becomes Her on Broadway—and they even filmed a cheeky video together.

Celebrities put so much thought into what their name will be when they appear on the stage or screen, often going with a catchier version of their name or a pseudonym, so it's surprisingly uncommon to come across two people with exactly the same name.

But Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams and Dawson's Creek's Michelle Williams have been getting confused by viewers and the media for years. Though their appearances and even entertainment mediums are different, their matching names have always managed to trip people up!

But this past weekend at a performance of Death Becomes Her on Broadway, where Destiny's Child's Williams plays Viola Van Horn, the two Michelles finally met each other off stage left. Their giddy reactions to meeting, from Destiny's Michelle bouncing on her tiptoes to Dawson's Michelle gesturing wildly, were everything.

You can see their first meeting here:

And to hard launch their meeting with each other, Michelle from Destiny's Child shared a fun video on Instagram.

In the video, Michelle appears excited about the turnout for Death Becomes Her, stating:

"Y'all, we had an amazing show tonight! The crowd was lit; we love lit crowds, and so, I've got more things to sign..."

As she grabs photographs to sign, it's clear that the pictures are not of her, but of a blonde girl.

There is a noise off camera, then Michelle whines:

"What do you waaaant?"

The camera pans to reveal blonde Michelle Williams sitting on a pedestal chair, who asks who she should make them out to, to which Destiny's Michelle replies:

"Would you make them out to... meeee?"

You can watch the video here:

Fans were thoroughly entertained not only by the two Michelle Williamses meeting each other, but also by the idea of an autograph being from one Michelle Williams to another Michelle Williams.

This is one of those rare celebrity meetings that is so cute, simply because the jokes and misunderstandings have been going on for so long.

But instead of looking at this negatively, the two women were thoroughly entertained by meeting each other and decided to make the absolute best of "saying their name."

MAGA author and radio host Eric Metaxas was criticized after claiming that God "raised up" President Donald Trump after two centuries so he could build his new White House ballroom.

Last year, Trump ordered the demolition of the entire East Wing to make way for a 90,000 square-foot ballroom that will dwarf the size of the White House itself, sparking alarm from historical preservationists and the public alike.

Pete Buttigieg Perfectly Shames Sean Duffy Over His 'Road Trip' Reality Show With A Reminder Of His Own 'Taxpayer-Funded Road Trip'

On Friday, May 8, MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's Secretary of Transportation returned to his Fox News stomping grounds to announce a return to his reality TV roots with a five-part YouTube series. Duffy, who was a self-described party boy on MTV's Real World: Boston back in the 1990s, owes his name value to his time on reality TV.

Following his first stint in the Real World franchise, Duffy returned to compete on MTV Road Rules, later meeting his wife, Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor Rachel Campos-Duffy—herself a notorious hard partier from Real World: San Francisco—on an installment of the program.
