The Walking Dead Season 8 Premiere: Who Will Die? [SPOILERS]

You’ve spent the last few months coming to terms with the inevitable passing of a series favorite. Or you’ve been among the delusional many that think an “immunity” storyline is on the horizon. Whichever school of thought you fall into, The Walking Dead is finally back and you’re ready to see how the second half of season eight plays out.

The first half was left on such a morose note, reminding you once again that nobody in Robert Kirkman and AMC’s cruel world is safe. As we gear ourselves up for the season eight mid-season premiere “Honor” and prep ourselves for the worst, it’s impossible to ignore that nagging question that lingers during every milestone episode: Who will die tonight?

Coming off of a defeat at Alexandria, Rick and company have already lost a lot. The Walking Dead has been ruthless in the past few seasons, however, but there is always room for more. I’ve done my best to avoid saying it, but as we get closer to the premiere of “Honor,” we have to face the reality that Carl Grimes is on his way out. Showrunner Scott Gimple has even confirmed there is no escaping death for the younger Grimes, stating that his death is a game changer for the characters and the progression of “All Out War.” In an interview with Variety, he used the word “nuclear” to describe the effect of Carl’s death.

We know Carl is on his way out, but does that mean it will happen during the mid-season premiere? According to The Spoiling Dead Fans forum, yes, Carl won’t make it to the tenth episode. The fan site, which has an impeccable rate of being right when it comes The Walking Dead spoilers, even goes into detail as to how it happens.

Fans of Carl can take solace in knowing that there won’t be a zombified Grimes that Rick needs to find the strength to put down. The Spoiling Dead Fans staff member NinjaPancake posted a Q&A that confirms Carl takes his own life during the flashback-filled episode. Flashbacks aren’t necessarily a favorite in The Walking Dead community, but seeing as how they will show how Carl Grimes used his diminishing time, we can make allowances.

As for the rest of the cast? Everyone else appears safe for now. The episode focuses more on Carl’s final moments and explaining how the Saviors were able to escape from their undead blockade. Without giving too much away, it’s going to leave you hating a certain character even more.

Nancy Mace Melts Down After Dem Rep. Points Out That Cosmetic Procedures Are 'Gender-Affirming Care'

On Wednesday, California Democratic Representative Sara Jacobs decided to address the elephant in the room—the GOP in general and self-described "proud transphobe" South Carolina MAGA Republican Representative Nancy Mace in particular—over their hypocrisy regarding gender-affirming healthcare procedures.

Mace is trying to amend a Defense Department funding measure to ban gender-affirming care for military members and their dependents, among other anti-LGBTQ+ budget amendments.

Nancy Mace Ripped After Using Transgender Slur To Refer To Charlie Kirk Killer

South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace was fiercely criticized following the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk when she used a slur to reference the rumored gender identity of the killer, who has yet to be identified by authorities.

Since Kirk's killing on Wednesday, Mace has erroneously claimed that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death—and now she's taken the opportunity to once again attack transgender people, saying with no evidence whatsoever that "the shooter was a tr*nny, or pro-tr*nny."

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.
