Vanessa Marcil took to Instagram to defend her and Brian Austin Green's 23-year-old son Kassius, who is openly gay, after receiving countless homophobic messages.

Vanessa Marcil recently took to Instagram to call out homophobic internet trolls who criticize her son, Kassius Marcil-Green, who is openly gay.

Marcil shares 23-year-old Kassius with her ex-partner and Beverly Hills, 90210 castmate Brian Austin Green. She joined the teen drama in its ninth season as Gina Kincaid, a love interest of Green’s on-screen character, and the actors dated from 1999 to 2003. Kassius is her only child.

In her Instagram post, Marcil shared a screenshot of a direct message from a commentator with a MAGA hat profile picture and the username “@Liz_be_2_much” who criticized her support and Kassius’ sexuality as “a sin.”

Marcil replied to the DM:

“Let me school you, real quick on a few things… & every other so called 'Christian' bible thumper coming to MY PAGE to tell me that my son is going to hell."
"First of all I'm so sorry that you are so lonely & unhappy that you have to involve children in your self hatred, projection spirals but I promise you that my kid just feels sorry for you. He's happy.”

Calling the internet troll “miserable,” the actress continued to defend her son:

“My kid however is the most decent, forgiving, kind, educated, talented, FREE, committed (with the same boyfriend for 8 years), self reflective, non judgmental, philanthropic (look it up Liz), Intellect...who has actually studied the Bible and Judaism along with other religions, languages, cultures and he would fight for your freedoms and your rights just like my man did in the Iraq war.”

Marcil ended by telling Liz that she’ll obviously have a hard time getting into heaven, but her son will “put in a good word for you with God!♥️”

Marcil captioned the post with more schooling on the hypocrisy and hatred displayed by commentators and family members who send her numerous messages about her son going to hell.

Marcil wrote in the caption:

“When I tell you that I am nowhere near as mature as you would hope that I am? I’m not. I have 100 percent had it with you fake Christians. I know real Christians and I know God.”

Kassius, who was named after Muhammad Ali’s first name, was born in Los Angeles and is Brian Austin Green’s oldest son. Kassius also has acting and writing credits and is known for the Class Acts television series and 2024's The Night They Came Home western movie, which also starred his father and Danny Trejo.

Kassius wrote and will star in a television movie called Lotusland, about TikTok stars and B-listers living in a hyper-dramatized version of Los Angeles.

The actor posted about filming on Instagram below:

Brian Austin Green, who is a father of five, talked about raising Kassius in a Frosted Tips with Lance Bass podcast episode that aired in October 2023.

In the podcast, he talked about Kassius coming out as gay:

“I would get into these conversations with Kash where it was like I really wanted to understand the things that seemed so different to me at first.'
"And then you realize, 'Oh, this isn't different at all.' It's just your choice of partner. It doesn't affect me at all."

Marcil’s post received support from those who agreed with the actress that the hypocrisy and homophobia from so-called Christian trolls need to stop.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
