Trump Dragged After Giving Speech At MAGA Wedding—And Naturally Making It All About Himself

Former Republican President Donald Trump is being dragged online after he gave a speech at a MAGA wedding and naturally made his toast all about himself.

Taking the mic, Trump praised his own presidency, particularly his administration's stance on Israel. His remark appeared to be a reference to his announcement in 2017 that the United States would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and plan to relocate Israel's U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Though the move was rejected by a majority of world leaders who said that it would inflame hostilities and spur conflict between Israel and Palestine, an undeterred Trump nonetheless emphatically stated that the wedding's Jewish attendees believed no other president "has done more" for Israel than he has.

You can hear what Trump said in the video below.

Trump said:

"Well, we've had a hell of a time and the crowd was massive."
"And so many of my friends are in this room, and they happen to be Jewish."
"And they said tonight that no president has done more for Israel than I had."

The crowd cheered in response.

The clip of Trump's remarks quickly went viral and it was clear that social media users were less than impressed.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this isn't the first time Trump has made a wedding toast all about himself.

Trump made headlines in March 2021 after he entered a wedding reception being held at Mar-a-Lago and delivered a speech that ignored the happy couple in favor of rambling complaints about Iran, China, and Joe Biden, to whom he'd lost the 2020 general election and who at that point had been in office for little more than two months.

At the time, Trump used the speech to further more conspiracies about the 2020 election and said that the United States under Biden is a "humanitarian disaster" largely because of the continued stream of migrants arriving at the nation's southern border.

He ultimately did congratulate the bride and groom after rambling for several minutes, telling them that it was "an honor to have [them] at Mar-a-Lago" and encouraged them and their guests to "have fun."

AOC Has Mic Drop Response To MAGA Republicans Who Try To Mock 'Democratic Priorities'

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez issued a powerful rebuke against President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, pointing out why mocking things like affordable housing and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as "Democrat priorities" ultimately hurts Republicans.

Ocasio-Cortez, speaking during a CNN town hall alongside Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, accused Republicans of refusing to work to end the government shutdown, stressing that the country’s health care system could collapse if Republicans refuse to meet Democrats’ demands in negotiations.

GOP Rep. Blames Coordinated 'Ruse' After Swastika Image Is Seen Displayed In His Office

Ohio Republican Representative Dave Taylor demanded an investigation after a swastika image was found on display in his Washington, D.C., office, and blamed it on a "targeted" "ruse."

Politico obtained a photo from a virtual meeting showing a distorted image of the American flag—its red and white lines altered into the shape of a swastika— pinned to what appears to be a cubicle wall behind Angelo Elia, a staffer for Taylor. Beside it hung a pocket Constitution and a congressional calendar. Elia’s involvement in the incident, if any, remains unclear.
