Since before his 2016 campaign, former President Donald Trump had a notorious reputation for racking up debt, peddling scams, and skipping out on payments to contractors.

This habit of Trump's continued well into his 2020 campaign. Over the course of the campaign, Trump's billion dollar debts became public knowledge, and news recently broke that Trump's fundraising provider, WinRed, signed unwitting supporters up for recurring payments.

True to form, Trump has yet to pay an outstanding $200 thousand in security costs for a rally he held in Albuquerque, New Mexico back in 2019, KOB 4 reports.

The city finally resorted to referring the debt to a collection agency, with Albuquerque Democratic mayor Tim Keller saying:

"We actually treated it like any other debt, and so it goes through a somewhat process where you send a bunch of letters out. We got no response from those letters. And then automatically, it does go to an agency that helps try and collect debts, and so that's those annoying phone calls you get that say, you know, you owe money to so-and-so like now, Trump is getting those."

But even Keller doesn't think Trump will pull up the dough:

"Given what else has happened, I mean in terms of, even his own campaign owing money to donors and lots of shady stuff there, so unfortunately I don't really expect us to get paid, but it's important that we do, and you know, we would do it for anyone else, so he's no different."

Like Keller, people weren't surprised.

But they were happy to see the city taking further action.

As of his last day in office, the Trump campaign owed millions to various cities for similar bills.

President Donald Trump was called out after he gloated to reporters in the Netherlands that his unilateral decision to bomb Iran was akin to the World War II bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that "ended the war"—a declaration that risks worsening geopolitical tensions amid concerns about a wider war in the Middle East.

On August 6 and August 9, 1945, the United States executed the detonation of two atomic bombs above the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, correspondingly.
