TikToker Darby Allison post a video of Hooters servers singing a birthday song for her 5-year-old son.

When a mother took her 5-year-old son to Hooters for his birthday, she received negative feedback on TikTok.

TikTok user Darby Allison—@darbyallison19 on the platform—posted a video of her young son being serenaded by Hooters waitresses on his birthday.

The waitresses had the young boy pretend to be the restaurant chain's mascot—an Owl—using cups and serving platters as a beak and wings respectively.

Waitresses gathered around and started singing the Hooters birthday chant. The young child stood on his seat and fluttered his make believe wings as they did so.

Shouldn’t have told them it was your birthday buddy 😂 #embarrased #hooters #fyp #happybirthday #MadeWithKeurigContest

Reactions were really all over the place.

First there were those grown adults now jealous of a 5-year-old child.

Then were there those who pointed out 5 year olds aren't known for loving Hooters, so it must have been the dad's idea.

But the overwhelming critique of the video came in with a resounding "why?".

Others were just secondhand embarrassed for the kid, who had to flap fake wings to receive his birthday song.

The child seemed happy even if it wasn't his choice of venue.

His happiness should be the most important thing on his birthday so mission accomplished there.

Lauren Boebert Casts Doubt On Moon Landing During Wild Interview With Conspiracy Theorist

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert was criticized after she seemingly agreed with the conspiracy theory that the moon landing was faked in a wide-ranging interview with conservative conspiracy theorist Alex Stein.

The segment began with the duo casting doubt on nuclear weapons—Boebert even joked about needing "tin foil"—and moved into weirder territory when Stein praised Boebert for "vibing" with him on the topic of the moon landing. Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax.

Rosie O'Donnell Calls Out Oprah For Attending Jeff Bezos' Wedding In Scathing Poem

Among the various celebrity hangers-on who attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's Venice wedding, the one that seemed to generate the most controversy was Oprah Winfrey.

After all, a woman known for her progressive politics whose entire ethos is about teaching people how to be their best selves, attending the wedding of man who directly funded a fascist regime dismantling our country before our eyes doesn't exactly add up.

Musk Offers Thinly-Veiled Threat After Trump Tells Reporters He's Mulling Over Deporting Him

Billionaire Elon Musk offered a thinly-veiled threat to President Donald Trump after Trump told reporters he is mulling over deporting him amid their feud over the president's One Big Beautiful Bill, which Musk opposes because the package's $3 trillion price tag is diametrically opposed to his prior efforts to slash federal spending.

The bill, Republicans say, will pay for itself in large part due to cuts to healthcare and food assistance programs that Vice President JD Vance has described as "immaterial." But Musk earlier said he will work to unseat any Republicans who've supported "the biggest debt increase in history."

Lisa Murkowski Slammed After Criticizing Massive Budget Bill She Just Voted For

Things People Initially Found Attractive About Their Partner That Now Annoy Them

Being in a relationship can be wonderful, but it's not without its ups and downs.

In order for it to work, we have to allow it to grow and change over time rather than being locked forever into what it was when we first started dating our person.
