The comedian shared a video of her April Fools' Day pregnancy prank on husband Chris Fischer—but he clocked it as a lie right away.

Stand up comic Amy Schumer realized that her husband Chris Fischer was no fool.

On April Fool's Day, the Trainwreck star tried to prank her husband by telling him she was pregnant, but he knew better than to fall for it.

In an Instagram video showing the pair, Schumer distracts Fischer, who is working at his laptop.

"Chris," she says, getting his attention. "I'm pregnant."

Fischer replies, "No, you're not."

Refusing to give in too soon, Schumer asks, "How do you know?" to which he immediately responds:

"You don't have a uterus."

Facts.

Schumer turns to the person filming them and indicates the video was a no-go, saying, "Alright, never mind."

The caption for the post read, "April fools fail."

Well, at least she tried it.

Fans got a kick out her backfired prank.

As Fischer quickly reminded his wife, Schumer had her uterus removed in 2021 to alleviate her endometriosis symptoms.

She announced having the procedure in an Instagram video that Fischer filmed as she recovered in the hospital.

"So, it's the morning after my surgery for endometriosis and my uterus is out," she told followers at the time.

"The doctor found 30 spots of endometriosis that he removed. He removed my appendix because the endometriosis had attacked it."

"There was a lot, a lot of blood in my uterus and I'm, you know, sore and I have some, like, gas pains," Schumer added.

She captioned the post with:

"If you have really painful periods, you may have #endometriosis."

Fans gave her plenty of support.

Schumer married the chef and farmer from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, on February 13, 2018, in a private ceremony in Malibu, California.

For their seventh wedding anniversary this year, the I Feel Pretty star shared a wedding photo on her Instagram story as a nod to their prenuptial agreement.

The text overlay read, "7 years ago we signed a prenup and haven't had to utilize it! Love you babe."

On May 5, 2019, she gave birth to their son, Gene David, via caesarean section due to her endometriosis.

She initially wanted to give Gene the middle name Attell, to honor her friend and fellow stand-up comedian Dave Attell, but changed her mind after realizing that "Gene Attell" sounds similar to "genital."

Schumer was apprehensive about conceiving a second child anytime soon.

She said in an August 2020 interview on Sunday Today with Willie Geist :

"We did IVF, and IVF was really tough on me. I don't think I could ever do IVF again."
"I decided that I can't be pregnant ever again. We thought about a surrogate, but I think we're going to hold off for right now."

While she may never be expectant in the near future, the actor was recently pregnant again
sort of.

In her latest comedy film, Kinda Pregnant, Schumer played Lainy, a woman who resorts to wearing a fake baby bump after being jealous of her best friend's pregnancy.

The comedy, directed by Tyler Spindel, can be streamed now on Netflix.

Trump Ripped For Forcing Federal Agencies To Send Bonkers Email To Workers Blaming Democrats For Shutdown

President Donald Trump is facing heavy criticism after he ordered federal agencies to send out emails to furloughed workers blaming Democrats in Congress for the government shutdown Tuesday night—a move that's been called out for violating ethics guidelines.

The federal government shut down early Wednesday after the White House and Congress failed to reach an agreement on federal spending. While Senate Democrats are in the minority, they hold enough seats to filibuster and are insisting that Republicans agree to extend federal subsidies for people insured under the Affordable Care Act.
