If you've been anywhere near a toddler in the last few years, you've no doubt had an unending, torturous loop of the song "Baby Shark" embedded in your brain. The nemesis of parents everywhere, its incessant "doo-doo-d'doo-d'doo" refrain is enough to drive even the chillest among us absolutely mad.

Thankfully, we need suffer no more, because actor Ryan Reynolds has come up with the perfect solution. And it's absolutely hilarious.

It's very easy—simply terrorize your tyke with Reynold's wife Blake Lively's shark-attack horror film The Shallows.

Done and done!

Reynolds shared his quick fix to his Instagram account over the weekend, where it went viral, racking up nearly 3 million likes as of this writing.

Beneath the movie poster, Reynolds wrote a caption that tells a familiar story to any of us who spend time with kids nowadays.

"My one year old daughter is obsessed with Baby Shark. All day. Every day."

Reynolds then wrote "there's only one way to fix this"—a viewing of Lively's 2016 horror flick, in which she plays a surfer named Nancy who gets lost off the coast of Mexico and narrowly survives a shark attack. After the attack, she must survive on a rock in the ocean for days after her friends get eaten by the shark while trying to rescue her.

Kids fare it is absolutely not.

But you probably couldn't find a better way to put your kid off "Baby Shark" than letting them watch their mother get chewed nearly to death by one of the things and then have to sew her wounds shut with a necklace.

It may not be appropriate for children, but as Lively put it when she shared Reynolds's post to her Instagram story:

"…Well at least they'll have ample content for therapy."

On Instagram, the couple's fans loved Reynolds' joke.

Lively also suggested another fun movie for she and Reynolds' child to watch.

The 2012 thriller Savages in which Lively is held hostage in deplorable conditions by a drug cartel. Sounds like the Lively-Reynolds might want to keep that child therapist's number handy.

And for you parents out there, if you don't have a copy of The Shallows handy, show you child this alternate version of sharks and "da-dum."
