A TikTok video showing two women confronting a restaurant staff for allegedly gossiping about their sugar daddy behind their backs sparked a debate on whether or not servers should mind their own business.

Julia McCabe, a.k.a. @jualreadykn0w on TikTok, posted a video of her and Vanessa Schecher, a.k.a. @notyurnessi on TikTok, dining at a restaurant and listening to the servers talking about them and being unaware of being recorded.

McCabe explained what happened in a text overlay and said Schecher confronted their waiter for talking about them within earshot.

"We overheard our waiter and the hostess talking smack about us being out with our sug@r d@ddy so she confronted him when he came back to the table."

In the clip, Schecher could be heard telling their waiter:

"By the way that's my sug@r d@ddy not my uncle or dad or anything since you guys are so curious over there."

Those in the service industry weighed in on the situation.

Others thought people shouldn't be so quick to admonish others for doing what many of us do...without getting caught.

The clip ended with the women enjoying the server's peace offering for his indiscretion.

"He brought us free dessert to apologize," wrote McCabe.

However, the women were warned not to get too excited.

New York Times reporter Shawn McCreesh has gone viral after bluntly calling out President Donald Trump for suggesting that Iran somehow got a hold of Tomahawk missiles to bomb a girls' school in its own country on the first day of the war.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was criticized last week after she rejected reports that the U.S. struck a girls' elementary school in Iran, killing 175 people, insisting in remarks to the press pool that it's just Iranian "propaganda" that they've "fallen" for.
