Recruitment company Cynet Systems is receiving much-deserved backlash after listing a job seeking a candidate who was "preferably Caucasian."

The listing was spotted by Twitter user Helena McCabe.

After she noticed Cynet's post on LinkedIn she posted a screenshot to her Twitter.

McCabe also proceeded to link to the job listing. That link is now defunct.

People everywhere are shocked by the content of the Cynet job listing.










The job listing explicitly violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which,

"makes it illegal to discriminate against a person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin."

Cynet has since posted two apologies to Twitter.


According to the statement from Cynet Systems' CEO Ashwani Mayur, those involved in this posting were fired immediately and all other job listings were reviewed.

With the United States set to host the 2026 World Cup, a video out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is drawing attention for a very different reason: showing a man ripping apart an Iraqi soccer fan’s banner and telling them, “Don’t come to America.”

The video, posted on Instagram, shows a group of Iraqi sports fans standing in an airport holding a banner with Arabic and Spanish writing. The fans were there to support Iraq during their World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, which resulted in a 2-1 upset victory earlier that day.
