Piers Morgan Lays Into Sarah Palin For Absurdly Ranting About 'Shenanigans' During 2020 Election

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was launched to infamy thanks to her wacky antics as John McCain's running mate in the 2008 presidential election campaign.

But although that race has come and gone and her governorship now sits in the rear view mirror, Palin has managed to stir up trouble anyway.

Palin, a longtime supporter of former President Donald Trump, recently appeared on Good Morning Britain, where she was asked to weigh in on Trump's continued insistence that President Joe Biden stole the election win through voter fraud and other illegitimate means.

There has been no evidence to support Trump's claim of election fraud.

Even after the violence at the Capitol on January 6--which was waged in service of Trump's lie--Palin couldn't bring herself to let go of the lie as she spoke to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.

When Morgan asked Palin if she accepted Biden's victory, she dodged:

"I want to see that our elections and every polling place is run cleanly, I was a Governor and as a Governor."

Morgan then interrupted her to repeat the actual question--whether she accepted Biden as the legitimate President of the US. Palin dodged again, this time pointing fingers.

"This is crazy, you guys invited me on, let me finish please."
"No, let me finish. I am talking about clean elections and I know that shenanigans do take place in elections, as a Governor I witnessed that."

Morgan was forced to interject again:

"We normally like having you on the program because we have a good two-way, robust debate. Today you've just come on and you're just talking nonsense. I don't think you believe this!"

When Palin asked how Morgan could possibly accuse her of nonsense when she was speaking facts, he thundered back again:

"They're not facts! There was no fraud!"

Reid then took over--letting Morgan simmer for a moment. She added some context of Palin's wild claims.

"Part of the problem for the Republican Party is that people like you - high-level members - are still perpetuating this utter load of nonsense that somehow there was fraud that stopped Trump winning. Trump got hammered in this election!"

People on Twitter were not at all surprised that Palin's appearance ended the way it did.

There is truly no knowing just how long these lies will continue to be told. If a failed coup and dozens of judges ruling against the claim won't do, it's difficult to imagine what will.

MAGA Rep. Ripped For Changing Story About Why He Sleeps In His DC Office To Fit Trump Agenda

Tennessee Republican Representative Tim Burchett was criticized for claiming that he "lives" in his office because of crime in Washington, D.C., even though he gave a completely different reason earlier this year to explain how he maintains productivity.

Burchett's remarks came as President Donald Trump federalized the Metropolitan Police and deployed about 800 National Guard troops to the nation’s capital this week while claiming crime in D.C. is "out of control" despite falling crime rates.

Sorbo gripes about Vikings cheerleaders

American actor and sudden cheerleading morality police Kevin Sorbo appeared to spontaneously combust online when the Minnesota Vikings announced the addition of two male cheerleaders to their 2025 squad.

Born in Mound, Minnesota, Sorbo has long cultivated his brand of brawny, bicep-flexing alpha male heroics—playing Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda, and starring in the 2008 parody Meet the Spartans, where he famously shared an on-screen kiss with Sean Maguire’s King Leonidas.
