Natalie Portman Threw Some Shade At The Oscars' Snubbing Of Female Directors With Her Embroidered Cape

On Sunday, February 9, Natalie Portman attended the 92nd Academy Awards in style.

The actress has been nominated for an Oscar three times and won once.

At the 2020 awards, she not only looked great in a Dior cape, but she also dressed to make a statement.

The cloth was embroidered with the names of many female directors snubbed by the Academy in this year's nominations.

While the films they worked on received nominations, the women did not. This is not the first time such a discrepancy has been noted.

Twitter fell in love with the cape, showering Portman with praise for wearing it.

Portman has been a Hollywood icon for years.

That won't be changing any time soon.

Portman has used many of her opportunities on a large stage to stand up for equal representation for women.

Even if her cape wasn't sending a powerful message...it still looked great.

Portman's gesture inspired many women to continue pursuing their dreams and achieve success.

And in case you were wondering who all the names on that cape were...

Well done, Natalie Portman, you're making a positive impact on the movie making industry.

Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
