Hunter Biden's Daughter Lashes Out At Fox Host For 'Over The Line' Rant About Joe Biden

After Jesse Watters claimed Joe Biden wasn't a 'good father,' Naomi Biden took to X to slam Watters for 'crossing the line.'

Naomi Biden—the daughter of Hunter Biden and granddaughter of President Joe Biden—criticized Fox News host Jesse Watters, accusing him of crossing a line in a recent segment that tied the president's policies on migrant crossings to his parenting.

During a Monday broadcast from Bedford, New Hampshire, Watters tried to connect President Biden's approach to migrant crossings at the nation's southern border to his parenting skills.

He said:

“I knew Biden was bad on the border because he’s not the best father. The man can’t say no to his own son. He can’t say ‘stop.’ He can’t have consequences for actions.”
“And that’s what you need, you need a man in charge, on the border, to say ‘this is not going to be allowed."

Shortly afterward, Naomi Biden condemned Watters' remarks in a post on X, formerly Twitter, in which she also questioned his own credibility as a reporter:

"I have heard so many lies about my family, it takes a lot to make me upset. This crosses the line."
"Not sure how this man can call himself a reporter and I hope he never has a son or daughter who struggles with anything. You can disagree with his policies without being this ugly."

You can see her post and hear what Watters said below.

Many echoed Naomi Biden's criticism of Watters.

Hunter Biden has been open about his struggles with alcoholism and drug abuse throughout his life. President Biden's critics have often used his son's history of addiction against him. However, the President has consistently supported Hunter and addressed the issue openly.

Conspiracy theories about Hunter Biden's business dealings have also been a favorite in conservative circles for some time.

A 2020 New York Post investigation published emails suggesting Hunter Biden introduced his father to an executive with Burisma Holdings–a Ukrainian gas firm–in 2015.

The story received criticism for shaky reporting and Twitter's attempts to block the news outlet from sharing the story received criticism from Republicans who accused the tech giant of censoring conservative voices.

Hunter Biden's assertion that his father had no financial involvement in his business and his offer to testify publicly didn't align with Republicans' insistence on a private deposition first.

Last month Hunter Biden issued a public statement in which he declared his refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by the GOP for a closed-door hearing and insisted he would testify publicly, which the chair of the committee, Rep. James Comer, had previously offered as an option.

Despite Hunter Biden's absence from the scheduled deposition following the subpoena, he delivered a public statement outside the Capitol insisting he was willing to testify in an open hearing, and criticizing House Republicans for their continued investigations into him and his family, part of a concerted effort to impeach his father. He is currently in negotiations with the House Oversight Committee to figure out a way forward that would allow him to testify. The contempt charge is on hold.
