Mariana Varela and Fabiola ValentĂn first met while competing against each other at the 2020 Miss Grand International pageant.

Former Miss Argentina Mariana Varela and one-time Miss Puerto Rico Fabiola ValentĂn shared the exciting news in a joint Instagram post announcing they secretly got married.

The pair started dating in private after having met and competed at the 2020 Miss Grand International pageant.

Their video post showed various clips of the gorgeous couple throughout recent stages of their relationship–including clips of them frolicking on the beach, rose petals spelling “Te Amo” on a bed and “Marry Me” balloons from their engagement, and nearly identical diamond rings next to a cake.

The clip of them reveling in their intimate matrimonial bliss outside of the Marriage Bureau in San Juan, Puerto Rico, showed them both beaming in white wedding attire.

Varela chose a white blazer with black slacks, while ValintĂn opted for a white fringed blazer dress.

"After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day,” they wrote on Saturday, October 30.

At the end of the caption, they added the date they tied the knot–which was on October 28, 2022.

Former Miss Grand International champion Abena Akuaba shared her enthusiasm for the couple, writing:

“Omg congratulations, MGI brought together a beautiful union."

Though they kept their day of the nuptials secret, they have frequently posted photos of them being together.

Varela, who is 26, posted a pic with ValentĂn, 22, wearing matching New York Yankees hats while basking in the glow of a sunset on the beach.

In December 2021, ValentĂn shared a series of photos of them wearing bikinis, and one of the photos showed them holding hands.

Earlier in April that same year, ValentĂn gave a platonic shout-out to her now wife, writing:

"One of the great gifts in this experience was your friendship. Walking this process with you was a special and real one. Miss you, my girl.”

The jubilation continued over on Twitter, with Billy Eichner leading the way.

After receiving an abundance of love from followers, Valera wrote in a pinned comment:

“Thanks for all the love! We are very happy and blessed. I wish that the love you are giving us is multiplied! Endless thanks."

ValentĂn also expressed gratitude and joy on Instagram Story, writing:

“What a blessing it is to read every message. Thank you all for your words and good wishes.”

Felicidades to the happy couple!
