Kaling's Instagram post honoring Novak's 44th birthday reignited rumors that he's secretly the father of her children.

Here we go again!

Mindy Kaling just wished BJ Novak a happy birthday, so people are once again convinced that Novak is secretly the father of Kaling's two children.

The post that reignited those rumors was shared by Kaling who shared a selfie of the duo with the caption:

"Happy birthday, Uncle B! We love you! 🎉"

Although the two did date on and off over the course of a few years following the premiere of The Office and Novak is the godfather of her children, Kaling has always brushed off the rumors that her Office costar—as well as fellow writer, executive producer and director—is the father of her children.

But her public display of celebrating Novak's 44th birthday only added fuel to the fire.

Fans in the comments just weren't buying this "uncle" business.

While Kaling hasn't publicly shared the identity of the father of her daughter Katherine, 5, and son Spencer, 2, she does maintain that it's not Novak.

But that just isn't enough for the believers of this Office romance.
