Pro-Trump Fox Anchor Dragged After Claiming 'Intel Source' Told Her Trump Won the Election
Fox Business

President Donald Trump has largely soured on the conservative Fox News network, deeming its coverage too critical and urging his supporters to switch to even further right wing media outlets like Newsmax and One America News.

But at least one Fox anchor remains in the President's good graces: Maria Bartiromo.

Earlier this year, Bartiromo was heavily criticized for failing to challenge Trump's absurd claims that widespread election fraud coordinated by Democrats tipped the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden. An interview earlier this summer, in which Bartiromo praised Trump's "resilience" and willingness to "get right back up and keep punching," was dismissed as flattery under the guise of journalism.

Now, Bartiromo is echoing Trump's lies that he's the actual legitimate winner of the 2020 election instead of Joe Biden—who earned over 7 million more votes than the President and whose 306 electoral votes have already been cast.

According to Bartiromo, an anonymous "intel source" told her that Trump actually won the election.

Watch below.

Bartiromo said on Fox Business:

"An intel source told me that President Trump did in fact win the election. He says that it is up to the Supreme Court to hear suits from other cases across the country to stop the clock."

The claim flies in the face of assertions made by Trump's own officials and rulings issued by courts at every level, including two Supreme Court cases in which the conservative Court denied standing to arguments seeking to overturn Biden's victory.

Bartiromo offered no corroborating information on the baseless claims, and soon Twitter began roasting her fealty.

Trump's lies about the election and their subsequent amplification from figures like Bartiromo have prompted frequent reminders that Trump did, in fact, lose the election.

Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th along with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
