The internet—always desperately scanning for some positive news these days—was recently fortunate enough to adore some genuine love between The Mandalorian himself and his real-life sister, who just came out as a transgender woman.

45-year-old Pedro Pascal has lit up computers and televisions as the title character of Disney+'s Star Wars spinoff series. And now, he's lighting up internet feeds, the Huffington Post reports.

After Pacal's sister, Lux Pascal, came out as trans in an interview with Chilean Magazine, Ya, Pascal published an Instagram post that included the magazine cover along with Pascal's brief, but powerful show of support:

"Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux."
Translated, that reads:
"My sister, my heart, our Lux."

As the cover story detailed, Lux first identified as nonbinary before coming out as a trans woman.

She told Ya she began to receive hormone treatment in the summer of 2020 and plans to study acting at Juilliard in New York City. An instagram post made by Ya included multiple snippets from the interview, where Lux shared more of the story behind her journey.

She shared how pivotal family support like Pedro's was throughout the process.

"For everyone in my family my transition has been something very natural. Almost something they expected to happen."

And, regarding her brother:

"He has been an important part of this. He is also an artist and has been a guide. He was one of the first to give me the things that formed my identity."

When news of Lux Pascal's courageous decision to come out and Pedro Pascal's public support spread, the internet was loving it all.

Drink up the good news, everybody.

And keep an eye out for Lux on the big screen in the years to come.

Last week, the Pope called on the world "to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything."

NASA Chief Responds To 10-Year-Old's Adorable Letter Asking For Pluto To Be Reclassified As A Planet

Those of us who were in school prior to 2006 would be able to recite an acronym or saying that lists the order of the planets in our solar system, such as "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine Peaches".

That old saying officially became outdated in 2006, when the final planet in that saying, Pluto, was officially declassified by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), and was thus no longer considered a planet.

MAGA Melts Down After 'Woke' Pope Leo Urges The World To 'Search Always For Peace'

MAGA followers were not happy with Pope Leo XIV and accused him of being "woke" after he, in remarks to reporters, implored "people of good will" to "search always for peace."

The Pope spoke out after President Donald Trump insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.
