Former President Donald Trump held one of his infamous rallies in Sarasota, Florida this past weekend, where he rattled off his laundry list of lies to his supporters.

Trump once again devoted a night to parroting the delusion that the 2020 election was "stolen" from him by Democrats facilitating widespread election fraud, even though there is no evidence to support this, despite weeks spent exhaustively verifying and recounting contested ballots.

But even with Trump out of the White House and no vindication for his bogus conspiracy theories, his supporters appear to be committed to showering him with praise.

That's what Trump spokeswoman Liz Harrington attempted to emphasize in a recent tweet sharing a report from AL.com about the event, noting that Trump's rally drew a "record crowd" to the Sarasota Fairgrounds.

But Harrington apparently missed this sentence, refuting a central claim of Trump's:

"Without evidence, Trump continued to peddle lies about the 2020 presidential election, calling it a 'totally rigged and dishonest election.' There has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud that would have affected the outcome of the election."

Unfortunately for Trump's spokeswoman, others did read the article—and were quick to point out the section she overlooked.

Some even thanked her for the inadvertent honesty.

Harrington hasn't acknowledged the slip-up.

Last week, Pope Leo criticized the war and called on the world "to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything."
