Kellyanne Conway Dragged After Claiming Liberals 'Wake Up Every Morning' Thinking About Jan. 6

The former Trump adviser ranted on Fox News about liberals after the Colorado Supreme Court ruled to bar Trump from the ballot, claiming they constantly think about Jan. 6 before they 'get into an electric vehicle and go get an abortion.'

Kellyanne Conway, the former advisor to ex-Republican President Donald Trump, was raked across the coals for taking a swing at liberals by claiming all they think about is the events of January 6, among other things.

Her remark, which she made during an appearance on Fox News, came after the Colorado Supreme Court's historic decision on Tuesday to ban Trump from the state's ballot under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause for his hand in inciting the U.S. Capitol attack on January 6, 2021.

Trump is currently the GOP frontrunner in the 2024 presidential primaries despite his 91 federal charges across 4 indictments that include falsifying business records, mishandling of government documents, and alleged attempts to overturn Democratic Joe Biden's victory in Atlanta, Georgia.

Colorado's high court 4-3 ruling marked the first time in U.S. history that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment was invoked to successfully disqualify a presidential candidate.

In light of the breaking news, Conway went after Democrats who supported the decision to ban Trump from the White House and talked about an imagined obsession they have about the insurrection.

"I think Democrats wake up every morning and they look at the calendar on the iPhone and it says January 6th," she told the Fox hosts.

"The date never changes."

She added:

"And then they get into an electric vehicle and go get an abortion."

Over on X (formerly Twitter), former GOP Illinois Representative Joe Walsh shared his take on January 6:

"I’m not a Democrat, but yes, I’m guilty. Every day I think about January 6th."
"At least once every day I think about how an American President actually led an insurrection, how he led a violent attempt to overthrow an American election."
"Because I think that’s a really big deal, and we can never let it happen again."

Former MSNBC broadcaster Mehdi Hasan found the "electric vehicle" comment particularly amusing.

Hasan wrote:

"The electric vehicle dig is a particularly funny and ironic one given the entire GOP now worships at the altar of Musk."

Others dragged Conway in the comments with plenty of sarcasm.

Trump Gets Brutal Reminder After Shaming Former Counterterrorism Chief For Remarrying Too Quickly After Wife's Death

President Donald Trump was given a blunt reminder of his own past after he shamed Joe Kent, the former National Counterterrorism Center director who recently resigned over the war with Iran, saying Kent had remarried too quickly after the death of his first wife.

Kent, a former Green Beret and political candidate with ties to right-wing extremists, was confirmed last July in a 52–44 vote to lead the National Counterterrorism Center, where he oversaw efforts to analyze and detect terrorist threats.
