'South Park' Hilariously Trolls Trump After Winning Emmy Award For Outstanding Animated Program

South Park had social media users cheering after trolling President Donald Trump for helping creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program at the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday.

Trump has previously complained about not being accepted by the Hollywood elite and not winning major film and television awards. South Park leaned into this by sharing a graphic depicting a pantsless Trump holding an Emmy while the show's characters flank him, sharing in the victory.

The caption? "You Finally Got Your Emmy."

The irony is that Trump’s latest “award” comes in the form of a joke at his expense on a critically acclaimed program that has continued satirizing the country’s political climate, even as the president has increasingly targeted critics in the entertainment industry and threatened to challenge or revoke broadcasters’ licenses.

In their post on X, the show remarked:

"Congratulations to Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and the entire South Park team on their Emmy win for Outstanding Animated Program!"

South Park continues to skewer the president.

Earlier this year, after Trump announced that Pam Bondi would be leaving her post as attorney general and "transitioning" to a role in the private sector, the show referenced a November 2025 episode in which the then-attorney general was portrayed as a literal brown-noser in the White House.

At one point, the Trump administration lashed out at South Park for its season premiere that shows Trump in bed with Satan—Satan's previous lover was the late dictator Saddam Hussein, as shown in South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut—and later depicts him tearing off his clothes in the desert to reveal a tiny talking penis.

The White House, via spokesperson Taylor Rogers, dismissed the show as one that "hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention."
