None of the contestants buzzed in to guess a key word in the Lord's Prayer.

Most people have heard of the game show, Jeopardy! where contestants answer trivia questions—from the mundane to the obscure—to win money.

On Tuesday's episode of the long running game show, all three contestants couldn't give the correct answer when asked to finish the Lord's Prayer—arguably the most universally used prayer of the Christian faith.

The clue was:

“Matthew 6:9 says, ‘Our Father Which Art In Heaven’, This ‘Be Thy Name'.”

The answer was the word "Hallowed."

This miss by all three contestants had audience members and people on social medial screaming at the top of their lungs.

People took to social media to express their shock.

Or in some cases, outrage.

Others were more understanding.

They recognized Christianity is not the only religion.

While the prayer is extremely well known among Christians, not everyone has heard it.

The number of people who identify as Christian has been dropping steadily.

The reactions from those on social media, while somewhat understandable, seem a bit extreme for what the question actually was.

During the nearly hour-long address to cadets and their families, he alternated between praising the graduating class of 2026 and revisiting familiar themes about what he described as the country’s recovery after a period of decline.

ChatGPT Response Appears To Make It Into School Textbook—And We're Doomed

Students are being actively discouraged from using ChatGPT and other AI-generation tools, as they are expected to learn their educational concepts and be able to put them into practice. They are also not supposed to use these tools while writing papers or during at-home tests.

Given how expensive grade school and college textbooks are, it is reasonable that educational writers and content professionals should be held to the same standards. Wouldn't it make sense for them to use the knowledge of their field, rather than what's been fed into ChatGPT, to make a textbook a worthwhile purchase for students?
