More and more people are trying to allow children to grow as their own self. Musician Grimes has announced on Twitter that she will allow her child to decide their own gender.

Grimes, real name Claire Boucher, held a question and answer session with fans on Friday to promote her new album, Miss Anthropocene.

Many of the questions asked related to her relationship to Elon Musk, and their baby. She is expected to give birth this Spring. She publicly confirmed her pregnancy in January.

One fan asked if the she was having a girl or a boy, and Grimes started a conversation about gender by stating that: “They may decide their fate and identity."

The 31-year-old singer is expecting her first child with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, with whom she has been in a relationship since 2018.

Their relationship has been controversial since the beginning.

So, it was no surprise that the internet had a lot of thoughts on this.

Others were fixated on finding out the name of the baby.

In her Q&A, the musician also admitted she was nervous about motherhood, but is excited to have her first child.

Miss Anthropocene, Grimes' fifth album, was released on Friday.

California Democratic Representative Ted Lieu caught Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a blatant lie and presented video evidence after Rubio testified to Congress that he'd "never seen" President Donald Trump "fall asleep" during a Cabinet meeting.

Trump has repeatedly had to cover for always falling asleep during meetings and events, and regularly rages against anyone who points out obvious signs of age-related decline. Last month, a White House account claimed he was simply "blinking" after Trump appeared to fall asleep during an event on maternal health in the Oval Office.
