Over 400 people have been arrested for their actions on January 6, when a mob of pro-Trump extremists—motivated by the former President's election lies—stormed the United States Capitol in a deadly failed insurrection.
Many of those arrested said former President Trump convinced them that they were doing the right thing. Some even publicly implored him to pardon them.
Though Trump did issue a flurry of pardons in his final days in office, none of these were for the rioters, and at least one of them is now livid.
NBC investigative reporter Scott McFarlane informed his followers on Friday that prosecutors were fighting to keep far-right Proud Boys member and Insurrection conspirator Ethan Nordean in jail until his trial.
Documents filed with the court revealed that Nordean felt betrayed by Trump, writing:
"F**K TRUMP! F**k him more than Biden. I've followed this guy for 4 years and given everything and lost it all. Yes he woke us up but he led us to believe some great justice was upon us...and it never happened, now I've got some of my good friends and myself facing jail time cuz we followed this guys lead and never question it."
He wasn't done:
"We are now and always have been on our own. So glad he was able to pardon a bunch of degenerates as his last move and s**t on us on the way out. F**k you trump you left us on [t]he battle field bloody and alone."
In his last days in office, Trump pardoned white nationalist Steve Bannon, NRA operative Paul Erickson, rapper Lil Wayne, and a slew of others. For reasons that are hopefully obvious, Trump didn't pardon anyone who participated in the first mass attack on the Capitol by its own citizens in American history.
People weren't exactly sympathetic to Nordean.
LOL. The downhill climb to admitting you were conned is devastating. Maybe he can come to full terms with it a few years behind bars.

Domestic terrorists had the free will to not follow the leader but they chose. Jail time for all.

Many said they shouldn't have trusted in Trump in the first place.
Wow, I almost shed a tear. From laughing at him thinking Former Guy was *ever* there for them.

Hard to believe anyone really thought trump would save anyone but himself or pardon anyone that couldn't help him...especially if they didn't pay him a ton of money for a pardon.

What in Trump's history made them think he cared about them or would lift a finger to help them?

If you didn't research Trump before voting you were negligent. He had a long history of leaving people stranded.

There are still more arrests to be made for the insurrection.
