Elliot Page celebrated another step in his transformative journey by posting a picture of him absolutely beaming while wearing his first-ever pair of swim trunks in a beautiful photo that went viral around the internet.

Page's photo, posted to his Instagram, showed him standing by a pool and showing off his six-pack and new red bathing suit, captioned simply "Trans bb's first swim trunks" with the hashtags "#transjoy" and "#transisbeautiful".

Page, who came out as trans in December 2020, has been open about how affirming and "life-saving" his transformation has been.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in April 2021, Page said one of the best and most joyous parts of his journey has been "getting out of the shower and the towel's around your waist and you're looking at yourself in the mirror and you're just like, 'There I am.'"

"It's being able to touch my chest and feel comfortable in my body for the—probably the first time."

Page has also been outspoken on the amount of anti-trans legislation being drafted across the United States.

"There is such an attack on trans health care right now, when already there is such a lack of access or trans people who don't even want to go to the doctor."

The kind of joy Page exudes in his poolside photo is the kind of joy every trans person deserves.

Here is hoping the United States will see the light and give trans people the tools to live their lives as themselves with freedom.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
