Trump Yet Again Undermined By Old Tweet Claiming That Democrats Would Use Recount To 'Steal' Election

Trump Yet Again Undermined By Old Tweet Claiming That Democrats Would Use Recount To 'Steal' Election

With votes from the 2020 election between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden still being counted, Biden has narrowly won the crucial swing state of Wisconsin, which Trump won in 2016.

Because Biden leads by less than one percentage point, the Trump campaign has the right to demand a recount, which it has vowed to do.

As Wisconsin's Republican former governor, Scott Walker, pointed out, recounts in Wisconsin have historically swung 100 to 300 votes. Biden leads Trump in the state by 20 thousand votes.

The Trump campaign is scrambling to invalidate the results in multiple states on baseless claims, with the recount being one of the only valid tactics.

But as is the mantra with Trump, "there's always a tweet."

In the 2012 election, Trump said that a recount in swing states would be used by the incumbent, then-President Barack Obama, to steal electoral votes from 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

As the election continues to heat up and the Trump campaign prepares for a recount in Wisconsin, Trump's critics couldn't help trolling him with the eight year old tweet.

Once again, there was an old tweet from Trump's that directly opposed the position he holds today.

The Wisconsin recount should be complete by November 13.

Model Accuses Fashion Brand Of Using AI To Recreate Her Looks For Ad Instead Of Hiring Her

There used to be laws in place for someone's likeness being used without their consent, and most certainly if their likeness was being used in an exploitative way for profit.
