Homeowner Stunned After Amazon Driver Accepts Offer To 'Go For A Swim' In Hilarious Video

Delivery driver jumps into pool to cool off

A homeowner left a note offering to let their delivery driver cool off in their pool—and then realized he took full advantage after reviewing their security video.

Especially since the pandemic when online ordering and circulating delivery packages were at an all-time high, more and more people shared their stories of stocking up their porches to thank delivery drivers and mail delivery people, from bottles of water to candy bars to dozens of snacks to pick from.

But a recent homeowner might be the first one to offer their delivery driver to jump in their swimming pool.

With record-high temperatures this summer, and no air conditioning option in most delivery trucks, a lot of workers are finding it difficult to stay safe and healthy in the heat.

A cool swimming pool on a hot summer day would be a tantalizing idea to anyone, but especially a delivery driver.

And according to a hilarious TikTok video, a driver was happy to take up a customer on their offer.

When a woman was expecting an Amazon package, she left out a note for the delivery driver that read:

"If you want to go for a swim, you are welcome to."

The homeowner didn't think anyone would take her up on it, but she later found a hilarious reaction when she was revisiting security camera footage.

Upon delivering the package and discovering the note, the unidentified delivery driver wasted no time. He quickly removed several items from his pockets, likely a cell phone and wallet, and left them on the table where he'd placed the package.

But he did not remove any clothes or shoes.

The driver then swiftly stepped up onto the diving board and smoothly dove into the deep end of the pool.

Others thought it was funny that he was so eager, the driver didn't even take the time to remove his shoes.

Some applauded the customer for showing this employee kindness.

This is one of those videos that's funny because of how the driver reacts, but it's heartwarming, too, because the customer had shown kindness by inviting the driver to use their pool to escape the heat.

If everyone did a few more acts of kindness like this more often, even if it's just setting out some water bottles or snacks, the whole world would be a little kinder.
