TikToker Tasia Taderera shared a video of her roommate criticizing her date for not taking her to dinner.

It's no secret the dating scene can be pretty rough. That's why many people take occasional breaks from dating, as well as their dating apps and social media.

But TikToker Tasia Taderera was considering giving up the whole concept of dating men after a recent date.

In a video recorded by a friend, Taderera and the videographer ranted about the lack of attention and enthusiasm her prospective date had shown her.

Taderera confided:

"I'm done with men. I don't want to do this. They're disgusting."

Taderera's friend, the videographer, interjected:

"She went on a date for two hours and [only got] one drink."

Taderera gestured to herself, dressed in a short white dress and black blazer:

"Look at me. Look at me!"
"Take me to dinner. Wine and dine!"
"Don't try to get all of this information out of me over one drink that you don't want to pay for, and I'm looking this great."
"I don't know. I just can't with them. They just don't get it."
"I can't. I don't have time for them anymore."

Taderera's friend agreed:

"Boys, do better on dates. Do better."

The two women also came up with a concept of reviewing their dating partners.

"You know what? We should start giving reviews. We should start sending out messages, like, 'So this is how you did,' so that they get better."
"Because at the end of the day, they'd be doing the bare minimum and wanting to be praised for it, period."

Some agreed with Taderara's frustrations about dating.

But some men in the comments thought that Taderara and the videographer were incredibly entitled.

Both men and women in the comments liked the review idea, but for different reasons.

While everyone in the comments section could agree that the dating scene is frustrating to navigate, the TikTokers disagreed about who was more responsible for the problem.

Many women understood where Taderera was coming from, and some men promised her fabulous dates if she'd go out with them. But some men found the video to reek of entitlement and believed men deserved the same considerations as women.

Maybe Taderera was on to something with the dating reviews, though a fellow dater might learn just as much about the person writing the review, based on how they were writing it, as they would learn about the person who was being reviewed.
