During the Ole Miss vs. South Carolina women's basketball game on February 4, the two opposing teams came together for a moment in a now-viral display of women supporting women.

South Carolina had the ball and was attempting to drive it in the paint when Marquesha Davis of Ole Miss, playing a tight defense, hit the floor, causing her wig to come off.

Immediately after players on both sides noticed, they formed a tight circle around Davis to shield her as she fixed her hair before resuming the game.

Once everyone realized what was happening, and that Davis wasn't injured, players, coaches and officials could all be seen smiling about the situation.

You can watch below.

As the video made its rounds on social media, South Carolina's head coach Dawn Staley took the opportunity to applaud players on both sides, writing:

"This warms my heart! My @GamecockWBB babies met the moment with the kindness and understanding I see everyday. @OleMissWBB were all locked hands in a united front."
"This is WBB at its finest. Love this! WE ARE WBB!!!"

Other viewers commended the players for putting aside their on-court rivalry to come together to support Davis.

South Carolina ultimately prevailed, beating Ole Miss 85-56, but we hope both teams walked away feeling proud.
