As news of the Supreme Court's probable overturning of the guarantee of reproductive rights, the media asked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to comment. Clinton was attending the 2022 Met Gala on Monday night.

During the event, a draft of a SCOTUS majority opinion was leaked and shared by Politico.

Justice Samuel Alito reportedly wrote of the 1973—Roe v. Wade—and 1992—Casey v. Planned Parenthood—landmark opinions that ensured reproductive freedom:

"We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled."

On Tuesday, Chief Justice John Roberts verified the leaked draft is authentic, but not finalized.

Justice Roberts stated an investigation into the leak will be conducted.

The coalition of conservative justices—Alito, Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh—maintained:

"Roe was egregiously wrong from the start."
"It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives."

Secretary Clinton—winner of the 2016 presidential popular vote by 2,868,686 votes over Donald Trump—shared her views on Twitter while attending the gala.

She wrote:

"Not surprising. But still outrageous."
"This decision is a direct assault on the dignity, rights, & lives of women, not to mention decades of settled law."

She also warned:

"It will kill and subjugate women even as a vast majority of Americans think abortion should be legal."
"What an utter disgrace."

Earlier that evening, Clinton tweeted:

"Women's rights are human rights and human rights are women's rights."
"An extreme wing of the Supreme Court may seek to deny that fundamental truth."
"They may try to force their views on a country where 70% of people want Roe upheld."
"We will not be quiet and we will not go back."

It could be noted, had Republicans not blocked President Barack Obama's final Supreme Court pick for over a year, one of the four judges signing onto the conservative opinion with Alito—Neil Gorsuch—would not be a Supreme Court justice.

Had the popular vote and not the electoral college vote determined the 2016 presidential election, President Hillary Clinton—not Donald Trump—would have filled the SCOTUS seats now occupied by Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

Back in December of 2015, Clinton warned voters of the damage a Republican President could do.

Though voters didn't listen to Clinton's warnings in 2015, they're listening now.

On Tuesday morning, former New York Senator Clinton urged people to attend a demonstration that evening in Foley Square in New York city.

Protests are planned across the United States.

Conservative Tries To Claim Disney+ Show Is Somehow Satanic Due To Joke—And Gets Instantly Fact-Checked

It's the holidays again, which of course means the yearly tradition of Christians having a meltdown about supposedly being persecuted by the existence of non-Jesusy Christmas stuff is back with a vengeance.

But the latest flap online is really a doozy in its audacity both because it's incredibly dumb and also a lie, obviously posted as a purposeful attempt to get attention.

Massachusetts Catholic Church Angers Conservatives With Its Brutal ICE-Themed Nativity Scene

The Christian Bible teaches that the Holy Family—Joseph, Mary, and Jesus—were residents of the Herodian ruled Nazareth, Galilee. Having traveled back to Joseph's ancestral home—Roman ruled Bethlehem, Judea—for the census, Mary and Joseph, in modern American parlance, would have been homeless immigrants/tourists having an "anchor baby" at the time of Jesus' birth.

While Joseph considered Galilee his immediate family's home, the trio would eventually flee to Egypt as refugees to escape from King Herod.

Trump Ripped After Forcing National Parks To Drop Free Entry On MLK Day And Juneteenth For Infuriating Reason

President Donald Trump was criticized after the National Park Service announced it will be dropping Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth for next year's calendar of free-entry days and adding Trump's birthday, which happens to fall on Flag Day, on June 14.

Last month, the Department of the Interior unveiled changes to what it now calls its “resident-only patriotic fee-free days,” expanding the calendar to include new dates like the Fourth of July weekend and President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday, while dropping others that had honored the department itself, including the Bureau of Land Management’s anniversary.

MAGA Is Melting Down Over A Pink J. Crew Sweater For Men—And Our Eyes Can't Roll Hard Enough

MAGA fans are melting down over a $168 men's sweater from J. Crew with a fair-isle collar, claiming, in yet another example of the idiocy of the culture wars, that only liberals would actually wear it.

Dem Rep. Has An Idea For A New Line Of Work For MTG After She Leaves Congress—And It Would Certainly Be Something

California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia was elected in November 2022 and even before being sworn in, he was locking horns with one-time MAGA darling and Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.

For years, MTG was best known as the QAnon conspiracy theory-spewing, State of the Union heckling, crossfit hyping, Trump ride-or-dying, anti-LGBTQ+ racist MAGA minion from Georgia.
