Hillary Clinton Has Iconic Reaction To Trump Administration's 'Atlantic' Text Scandal
Mar 25, 2025
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had a succinct response after Jeffrey Goldberg—the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic—revealed he was invited into a Signal chat with high-level Trump administration officials discussing military strategy surrounding their war strikes in Yemen.
Goldberg revealed a highly unusual and concerning situation where senior Trump administration officials were allegedly discussing war plans over a group chat on Signal. Goldberg recounted that Representative Mike Waltz added him to an 18-person group chat, which he initially suspected was a hoax or disinformation campaign.
However, he soon realized it was authentic and included key national security figures such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who reportedly shared sensitive information that could have jeopardized American military and intelligence personnel, particularly in the Middle East; Vice President J.D. Vance; Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard; and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Goldberg described the situation as becoming "truly bizarre" on March 15, just four days after he was added to the group chat. At around 11:44 a.m. ET, Hegseth sent a message to the group containing “precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing” for U.S. military strikes on Yemen that were set to occur about two hours later.
When those strikes were carried out as planned, Goldberg realized that the group chat and the information shared were indeed legitimate, confirming the seriousness and authenticity of the discussion.
In came Clinton with this simple reaction to the news:
"You have got to be kidding me."
You can see her post below.
Clinton's response is notable because this particular Trump administration scandal exposes the hypocrisy Trump and his associates have exhibited in response to the Benghazi and email investigations, which ultimately cleared Clinton of any criminal wrongdoing.
As Secretary of State, Clinton responded to the Arab Spring by advocating military intervention in Libya but was harshly criticized by Republicans for the failure to prevent the 2012 Benghazi attack. However embassy security staff was cut by Republicans prior to the attack.
Her use of a private email server when she was Secretary of State was the subject of intense scrutiny. The emails were retrieved, not deleted as Republican rhetoric claims. No charges were filed against Clinton as it was deemed a procedural issue and not criminal.
Notably, multiple members of the Trump administration were cited for using private servers, unsecured electronic devices and public apps for official White House communication.
Many appreciated her response and criticized the Trump administration themselves.
Funnily enough, President Donald Trump—who was previously charged with violating federal government policy regarding classified documents—has claimed he respects laws that protect classified information, particularly since his own aides claimed he had a “standing order” to declassify documents that left the White House for his residence.
Back in 2016, in reference to Clinton, Trump said he is "going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information."
How'd that work out?

Elon Musk's Trans Daughter Epically Claps Back After Musk Claims His Child 'Died'
Mar 25, 2025
Elon Musk's estranged trans daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, used an iconic soundbite from RuPaul's Drag Race to clap back at Musk's claim that his child had "died."
The SpaceX co-founder responded to a post on X (formerly Twitter) defending Musk for appearing to give the Nazi salute twice at Republican President Donald Trump's inauguration.
A user shared a screenshot of a Guardian article with the headline "Elon Musk's daughter says father's rally gesture was 'definitely a Nazi salute.'"
The article featured a photo of Musk's controversial one-arm salute.
The user wrote in the caption:
"Don't people realize that we hate Hitler not for doing a quirky salute, but for killing millions of people? Has Elon killed even a single person? No."
"And just because his son says something, that doesn't necessarily make it true."
Musk responded by deadnaming Wilson and alleged that she was "killed by the woke mind virus," which he's spouted before in a transphobic rant during a Daily Wire interview on The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast in July of 2024.
Wilson, who legally changed her name in 2022 when she turned 18, posted a TikTok video responding to the tech billionaire's comment.
The clip began with a screenshot of Musk's X comment and was followed by Wilson striking a fierce pose with hands in her pocket.
She lip-synced to an audio clip taken from Drag Race, mouthing along: “I look pretty good for a dead b*tch.”
The TikTok, which you can see below, went viral with over 45k likes so far—well above Musk's 6k likes for his "woke mind virus" tweet.
@vivllainous And you don’t. #fyp #trans
Social media users cheered Wilson on for her fierce affirmation of life.

In the 2024 Daily Wire interview, Musk, who was once criticized for spreading misinformation about COVID-19, stating that the coronavirus panic was "dumb," blamed the "death" of his trans child on the "woke mind virus."
Throughout the interview, he continued deadnaming Wilson to hundreds of millions of followers.
"I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys," Musk explained to Peterson during the podcast, adding:
“This was before I had really any understanding of what was going on and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion. I was told [Vivian] might commit suicide.”
Musk also claimed he was "tricked" into signing off on gender-affirming care for Vivian, and he falsely equated the medical intervention supporting an individual's gender identity to "child mutilation and sterilization."
Wilson, who dropped the Musk surname and took her mother and Musk's ex-wife Justine Wilson's surname, recently revealed that Musk pays extra for sex-selective IVF to produce male offspring.
"My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for," she wrote in a March 9 post on Bluesky, adding:
“So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold.”
“That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION," she wrote in a follow-up post.
When Musk was slammed for displaying the Sieg Heil arm salute one after the other at Trump's inauguration, Wilson took to Bluesky and wrote:
"I'm just gonna say let's call a spade a f**king spade. Especially if there were two spades done in succession based on the reaction of the first spade."
If anything is clear, it's that Wilson is not afraid of speaking out against her estranged father.
Kudos to you, Vivian.

Mike Myers Joins Canada's New Prime Minister For Epic Jab At Trump In Viral Video
Mar 25, 2025
Actor and comedian Mike Myers has gone viral after joining Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney for a video message that mocks President Donald Trump and his plan to make Canada the 51st state of the United States.
In the Liberal Party skit, Mike Myers and Mark Carney—both dressed in red Canada jerseys—share a moment at a hockey practice. Carney starts off skeptical of Myers, questioning his Canadian credentials since he now lives in the United States, despite being born and raised in Canada.
Myers—who found fame on Saturday Night Live—reassures Carney of his Canadian identity, insisting, "I'll always be Canadian," before proving it with a rapid-fire quiz on Canadian TV and Toronto's "two seasons": winter and construction.
But Myers flips the script, asking Carney a weightier question:
"Will there always be a Canada?"
Carney vows:
"There will always be a Canada."
The two exchange the phrase "elbows up"—a hockey term for defending yourself and fighting back, now repurposed as a rallying cry against Trump's repeated assertions that Canada should be the 51st state.

But the sharpest jab at Trump comes in silence. As the camera pulls back, the name on the back of Myers’ jersey is revealed: NEVER 51.
@MarkJCarney/X
Carney shared the video to his social media followers—with the phrase "elbows up," of course.
People loved every second of it.
Carney's decision to call a snap election for April 28 underscores the growing tensions between Canada and the U.S., as he seeks a strong mandate to counter the threat posed by Trump.
Carney's stark warning—that Trump "wants to break us so America can own us"—highlights how deeply relations have deteriorated between the two long-time allies and trading partners.
Canada has also updated its travel advisory for the U.S. in response to the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. The update follows several European nations revising their advisories due to Trump's rollbacks on transgender rights and growing concerns over visa-related detentions of Canadians and other foreign nationals by U.S. immigration authorities.
A new interim rule, set to take effect on April 11, will now require Canadians staying in the U.S. for longer than 30 days to register with the U.S. government—a move that signals tightening immigration policies under the current administration.

Pete Buttigieg Drops F-Bombs After Trump Administration Invites Journalist Into High-Level Military Group Chat
Mar 25, 2025
Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg passionately spoke out after Jeffrey Goldberg—the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic—revealed he was invited into a Signal chat with high-level Trump administration officials discussing military strategy surrounding their war strikes in Yemen.
Buttigieg stressed the danger of the situation in a colorful post on BlueSky that included a link to Goldberg's article:
"From an operational security perspective, this is the highest level of f**kup imaginable. These people cannot keep America safe."
You can see his post below.
@petebuttigieg.bsky.social
In a separate video, Buttigieg commented on "Signal Gate", including yet another f-bomb:
"Very powerful, very senior White House officials, it turns out, discussed highly classified war plans not only an unclassified channel but accidentally, and randomly, it seems, including a journalist. To see this administration claiming that it cares about competence and merit and then be responsible for an epic f**k up like this demonstrates that they are not serious people."
"I was an intelligence officer for about seven years in the U.S. Navy reserve and I occasionally handled highly classified information during my time in the Cabinet as well. It can be hard to explain just how much goes into keeping that information safe. It is only available to people with a security clearance and a need to know."
"It's only discussed in certain facilities that are hardened to ensure that they don't have the same vulnerability to surveillance as most places. And importantly, we only ever use classified systems to discuss classified information."
"America needs answers as to why an unclassified, commercially available app was used and even more importantly, how some of the most powerful people in this country didn't know that they accidentally included a journalist while they were discussing classified war plans that they had yet to authorize and execute."
Buttigieg noted that he knows "Americans who have lost their lives due to intelligence failures, saying that an intelligence failure of this magnitude raises the question of whether "there is any place for merit or competence in this administration at all."
He concluded:
"If there are not highly serious consequences for this level of screwup, then it will make clear that all of the bluster about merit that you hear about from this White House is just bulls**t."
"We deserve so much better than this. It is getting clearer by the day that the people in charge of the American government cannot keep the American people safe."
You can hear what he said in the video below.
Many echoed Buttigieg's criticisms.
I spent 20 years as a comsec responsible officer in the Air For e and I would've been in prison before a trial had I texted anyone even TRAINING sortie takeoff times, let alone strike and target details my god. This is scary.

Everyone needs to plug their nose because if it’s one thing this administration (and the entire maga movement overall) will never do, is hold themselves accountable. No one will lose their job. It’s definitively deplorable.
— NotThatJerseyMike (@notthatjerseymike.bsky.social) March 25, 2025 at 7:45 AM
Pete saying what need to be said. I bet the GOP is more upset with Pete cussing than what what Hegseth, Vance and Rubio did.

Clearly, it was never about her emails. Our enlisted and officer ranks should really begin to question, rather than worship, this "commander in chief". This level of incompetence and lack of concern for top secret info is endangering their lives for no reason.
— Michigan Jill (@whitchmi.bsky.social) March 24, 2025 at 9:20 PM
War plans accidentally given to a reporter??? What about national security? What about the espionage act? Everybody everyday everybody everyday everybody everyday Call out your elected officials now PLEASE Senate 202 224-3121 House 202 225-3121 And don't forget the White House 202 225-3121
— eileenhstuff.bsky.social (@eileenhstuff.bsky.social) March 24, 2025 at 9:35 PM
After the strikes were carried out as planned, Goldberg decided to leave the group chat. Seeking clarification, he reached out to officials to inquire about the authenticity of the conversation. National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes later confirmed to him that the thread was real, validating the bizarre and unsettling situation Goldberg had found himself in.
Hughes said "the thread is a demonstration of the deep and thoughtful policy coordination between senior officials," adding that "the ongoing success of the Houthi operation demonstrates that there were no threats to troops or national security.”
When reporters asked about Goldberg’s story on Monday, Trump responded by claiming he had no idea what they were referring to. He said, "You are telling me about it for the first time,” distancing himself from any knowledge of the situation.

Trump Blasted After Turning Annual White House Easter Tradition Into Corporate Grift
Mar 25, 2025
President Donald Trump has sparked concerns from ethics experts after soliciting corporate sponsors for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
Potential sponsors of the April 21 event were presented with three sponsorship options ranging from $75,000 to $200,000, according to a nine-page guide reviewed by The New York Times.
The top-tier package, priced at $200,000, includes perks such as a corporate booth, logo placements, branded snacks or beverages, exclusive tickets to brunch with First Lady Melania Trump, engagement opportunities with the White House Press Corps, a private White House tour, and 150 event tickets.
The guide, created by Harbinger, an event production company founded by Republican aides in 2013, encouraged sponsors to "be a part of history" by offering financial support, activities, and giveaways, while also gaining brand visibility and national recognition.
Federal regulations prohibit government employees from using their positions for private gain, but now ethics experts argue that the White House is violating this rule.
Richard Painter, former chief ethics lawyer in the Bush administration, criticized the administration, stating that it is "clearly breaking the code" by allowing private companies to showcase their brands at an official event and directing the proceeds to a private nonprofit:
“I’m shocked that they are doing this to raise money. You can’t use the power of the United States government to favor one nonprofit over another.”
In separate remarks to CNN, he said:
“That would have been vetoed in about 30 seconds in my day. We’re not running this like a football stadium where you get all logos all over the place for kicking in money.”
As in previous years, money raised from the event will go to the White House Historical Association, a private nonprofit founded by Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961. The event is primarily funded without taxpayer dollars, with the American Egg Board sponsoring thousands of eggs—though not with the kind of high-profile branding opportunities outlined in Harbinger’s guide.
It’s not unusual for a production company like Harbinger to be involved in major events. Founded by former Mitt Romney campaign staffers in 2013, the company has handled large-scale corporate and government gatherings, including Trump’s first-term Egg Rolls, March for Our Lives, media spin rooms at presidential debates, and Pope Francis’ 2015 visit to the U.S.
In previous Egg Rolls, an official involved in past planning noted that event costs were reimbursed through an agreement between the National Park Service, the American Egg Board, the White House Historical Association, and the White House. While there have been smaller partnerships with groups like NASA, the LEGO Foundation, and Disney, branding was extremely limited due to strict constraints from the White House counsel’s office. Not so anymore, apparently.
Many have criticized the Trump administration's move.
The White House has already come under fire this month for ethics concerns regarding Trump's boosting of the Tesla brand.
The Trump administration’s approach to Tesla seems to blend promotion with punishment—urging Americans to buy the cars and stock while threatening harsh penalties for vandalizing charging stations. Trump himself warned that offenders could be sent to a Salvadoran prison, calling them "terrorist thugs" in a Friday post.
This unusual level of support for Tesla has raised ethical concerns, as officials appear to be leveraging their power in ways that could benefit their own business interests. Ethics experts describe these actions as unprecedented and alarming.
Tesla’s potential gains from this administration-backed promotion would directly benefit CEO Elon Musk, who, aside from leading the company, has been given a special government role to oversee the advisory Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), aimed at cutting federal services.
Further fueling concerns, Trump held a live Tesla promo on the White House’s South Lawn earlier this month, where he told reporters he would personally buy a Tesla and write Musk a check. The staged spectacle briefly boosted Tesla’s stock, though the bump didn’t last.
