The Daily Wire host one-upped his rendition of 'WAP' by reading the lyrics to the remix of 'Pound Town' on his show—and the mockery was swift.

Ben Shapiro evidently took extreme issue with the lyrics of Sexxy Red's song "Pound Town, and the remix with Nicki Minaj, "Pound Town 2."

He then decided to make it everyone else's problem by reading the supposedly incredibly offensive lyrics aloud on his show, Daily Wire.

Shapiro seemed quite cognizant of the fact the internet would tear him to shreds like they did with his earlier stoic reading of the lyrics to "WAP."

"I'm so hesitant to read the lyrics to this thing out loud—It's going to be even more memeable than 'WAP' if I do."

But he decided to forge ahead anyway for some reason.

"But you know what, it has to be done. I can't live with myself reading it, and I can't live with myself not reading it."

The rest of the world definitely could have lived without him reading it.

The lyrics Shapiro read included these lines from the opening verse of the song:

"I’m out of town, thuggin’ with my rounds / My coochie pink, my booty-hole brown / Where the [n-words]? I’m lookin’ for the hoes / Quit playin’, [n-word] come suck a bitch toe."

Shapiro seemed genuinely surprised a song literally called "Pound Town" contained obvious sexual themes and explicit language.

Shapiro also sarcastically referred to the song as "one of the great pieces of art in the history of Western civilization."

He then said:

"It makes ‘WAP’ look childhood-friendly."

Shapiro was 100% right about the internet's inevitable reaction to his rendition of "Pound Town."

Minaj responded to Shapiro's video via Twitter, tweeting:

"Roman said leave his a** out of it sir! No pun intended"

For those not in the know, Roman Zolanski is one of Minaj's more popular alter egos—something a bit odd for Shapiro to know if he dislikes Minaj's music as much as he purports to.

Shapiro tried to return fire...

...but Minaj was more than ready.

She responded, complete with sarcastic lovey emojis.

"Next time I’ll be sure to add my d*ck. So you can suk it. Love you."

People loved her response.

Like "WAP" before it, "Pound Town" is an explicitly sexual song written for adults, by adults, with the content of the lyrics even clearer from the title than with they were with "WAP."

If you don't want to listen to a song about sex, don't listen to a song named "Pound Town."
