Ben Affleck and Kevin Smith were once a match made in movie heaven. The actor and director collaborated on 6 different films together: Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl and Clerks II.

However, after Clerks II wrapped in 2006, the pair had a fall out. However, now it looks like Ben Affleck might be open to another collaboration in the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

Back in 2017, 11 years after their final collaboration, Kevin Smith finally spoke out about why he and Affleck stopped speaking.

Recently, Ben Affleck was promoting his new Netflix movie Triple Frontier when he was asked if any of his former characters would make an appearance in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

Shockingly, the actor replied with more openness to the idea than people expected.

"Your guess is a good as mine. I haven't been asked to make an appearance, but you never know, there's still time. We'll see."

He went on to share which of the characters he'd rather reappear as.

"I think if it was up to me, I would rather do Holden than Shannon, but I would defer to Kevin."

The internet quickly caught wind of Affleck's willingness to work with Smith again and ran to alert the director.

Others were quick to insist that the pair put their differences aside and make the movie happen.

Hopefully we'll be seeing a reappearance of Shannon or Holden soon.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Dunks On Trump For Hosting The Kennedy Center Honors

California Governor Gavin Newsom trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated photo of himself accepting the inaugural—and not real—"Kennedy Center peace prize" from Trump.

The photo accompanied a post in which Newsom mocked not just Trump but also Ric Grenell, the Kennedy Center's president, whom Newsom referred to as a "janitor" in a post that—like many of Newsom's past posts—is written in a style not unlike the rants Trump publishes on Truth Social.

President Donald Trump attacked Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene after his former ally-turned-nemesis criticized him in an interview with Lesley Stahl on Sunday's episode of 60 Minutes.

Greene told CBS that his inflammatory language “directly fueled” threats against her family, including an email asserting that a pipe bomb had been planted targeting her son.
