Steve Bannon—former chairman of Breitbart News and Trump administration White House chief strategist—was permanently suspended from Twitter. The suspension on Thursday occurred after Bannon called for the beheadings of Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray.
Bannon is currently out on a $5 million bail package for other charges. He made the violent comments on his suggestively titled YouTube podcast War Room.
YouTube has also suspended the account and pulled the original video.
Bannon began with false claims President Trump had won the election. He then suggested Trump's "second term kicks off" with firing Fauci and Wray.
In the video Bannon said:
"Second term kicks off with firing Wray, firing Fauci, no, I actually want to go a step farther, but the president is a kind-hearted man and a good man,"
"I'd put the heads on pikes. Right. I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats. You either get with the program or you are gone."
Twitter users were disgusted at the commentary from Bannon.
Since he's already been charged with fraud, seems like the FBI will be on him. Not that Bannon cares, but violent threats against federal officials is against the law. https://t.co/N0JRBWdjda

UPDATE: YouTube has removed a video where Steve Bannon says he would put Dr. Fauci and FBI director Wrey's heads on spikes.
"We've removed this video for violating policy against inciting violence. Continue to be vigilant as we enforce our policies in the post-election period." https://t.co/1xj2Be3Bk3

Threatening to kill or harm people is a terroristic threat. Especially so when it's against federal officials.
Felony.
@fbi Arrest Bannon now.

Isn't it a federal crime to threaten federal officials? Also,he is out on bail. Throw his a$ back in jail!

@FBI @aclu Steve Bannon is threatening the life of two career public servants. Bannon should lose his bond and be taken back to prison.

That is just... not... acceptable. This isn't “free speech," it's reckless and hateful speech. Already, Dr. Fauci — who has served this country for decades — gets so many death threats he needs security to take a walk. And now this? Bannon belongs in jail.

As he does with everything. He doesn't call for armed insurrection but he does demand action, self organisation & standing up for the president, always in conjunction with war stories, talk of earlier men of arms who saved their country. Nobody ever said he was stupid, just evil.

Tell me again how this is not a cult again?

He's really working OT to try and get back on DJT's good side maybe hoping for a pardon before he leaves office. Don't think its working though -- I haven't heard anyone by the name of Trump so much as repeat the name Bannon
