Over the course of her four months in Congress, Republican Representative and prominent conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has repeatedly accosted and berated her Democratic colleagues.

Greene was stripped of her committee assignments by these same colleagues after reports broke that she'd repeatedly endorsed the execution of Democratic members of Congress before being elected. In campaign ads, Greene also posed with an assault weapon next to pictures of progressive Congresswomen. Representative Cori Bush (D-MO) felt unsafe after one confrontation with Greene and felt the need to change her Congressional office location.

But few have been a more prominent target of Greene's belligerence than progressive Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York—a favorite target of the far-right.

For weeks, Greene has begged Ocasio-Cortez, colloquially known as "AOC," to debate her, and the Washington Post reported on Thursday that Greene even followed AOC around the House floor, demanding a debate and accusing Ocasio-Cortez of being a terrorist sympathizer who hates the United States.

For her part, Ocasio-Cortez hasn't given Greene's demands the dignity of a response, but the Congresswoman did comment on the latest harassment from Greene after CNN Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju asked for her thoughts.

According to Raju, AOC said:

"I used to work as a bartender. These are the kinds of people that I threw out of bars all the time."

She later used the statement to remind her millions of Twitter followers to tip their servers.

Greene was...less restrained.

But it was Ocasio-Cortez whose rebuttal was widely praised.

And Greene's demands for a debate have only made her look desperate to social media users.

The debate is not expected to happen any time soon, if at all.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
