Eminem Slams Trump in Freestyle Performance, Says What We're All Thinking About Who Really Runs the White House

He's not holding back.

Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, began his iHeart Radio Awards performance Sunday night with a message for President Donald Trump and the National Rifle Association (NRA). The rap artist added some lyrics to his song "Nowhere Fast" with singer Kehlani.

His performance began with an introduction by Big Sean who welcomed Alex Moscou, a student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, to help introduce Eminem.

During his introduction, Moscou, wearing a “March For Our Lives” T-shirt, invited others to join he and his classmates in Washington, DC, on March 24th.

"We're tired of hearing politicians send their thoughts and prayers to us, and doing nothing to make the necessary changes to prevent this tragedy from happening again," Alex expressed.

If those elected to represent won't do what's right to keep us safe, we're going to be too loud for them to ignore."

Eminem's new lyrics struck at the NRA and their influence in American politics:

This whole country is going nuts

And the NRA is in our way

They’re responsible for this whole production

They hold the strings, they control the puppet..."

So they know the government won’t do nothing and no one’s budging

Gun owners clutching their loaded weapons

They love their guns more than our children...”

This isn't the first time Eminem has taken the president to task. Back in October 2017, the rapper released a freestyle performance, one that relies on rapping on the fly, that clearly targeted Donald Trump. Eminem's freestyle, titled "The Storm" debuted at the BET Hip Hop Awards and quickly went viral.

The lyrics of "The Storm" left no doubt of the rapper's opinion of the 45th president.

And any fan of mine who's a supporter of his

I'm drawing in the sand a line, you're either for or against

And if you can't decide who you like more and you're split

On who you should stand beside, I'll do it for you with this:

F__ you!

The rest of America stand up!

We love our military, and we love our country

But we f__ing hate Trump!"

The original lyrics for "Nowhere Fast" already addressed some of the social ills of the world according to Mathers' view:

But now we’re on a path headed to nowhere and fast

Another terrorist attacks

Like a tariff, blows half of Madison Square up, alas

We perish in the blast

But that isn’t scaring us, we pass...”

No response yet from Donald Trump or the NRA, but others have taken to the president's preferred form of communication to comment on the Sunday night perfomrance.

MAGA Influencer Dragged After Claiming That Only 'Single Gay Males' Live In Cities

Will Chamberlain, a MAGA minion who works for a Republican-aligned legal group, claimed suburban living is where all the good families live, rather than cities.

While that notion has been around since redlining and "White flight," Chamberlain's "those people" aren't BIPOC. No, Chamberlain's claim revolved around something else that seems to often makes conservatives squirm—or, at least, closeted conservatives. He claimed cities are full of...gay men.

Tucker Carlson Turns Heads After Claiming Members Of Congress Are Having All Kinds Of 'Orgies'

Far-right provocateur Tucker Carlson weirded people out after he, in conversation with Tennessee Republican Representative Tim Burchett, alleged that members of Congress engage in group sex far more often than most Americans would imagine.

Speaking on the October 10 episode of his eponymous podcast, Carlson said he thinks “people’s personal lives are getting weirder in Congress.” In fact, he said that "some people that members of Congress are sleeping with, either legally or not, are employed by forces that want to control members of Congress."
