Conservative Media Thinks The Left Is Outraged At Vince Vaughn For Cozying Up To The Trumps—But They Actually Don't GAF

Actor Vince Vaughn was trending on Twitter this past Monday, January 13, after footage of the celebrity having a chat with Donald and Melania Trump at the National College Football Championships went viral online.

People predicted it would get some notice after it appeared on their TV screens.

They weren't wrong.

As soon as the video appeared on Twitter, it began being retweeted and recirculated by news outlets.

Some people felt Vaughn had let them down.

It turns out the actor hasn't made a secret of his conservatism for many years.

As the story began to circulate, however, it became clear there was little actual outrage towards Vaughn.

Few liberals seemed to have serious feelings about Vaughn talking with President Trump, though they might not want to do it themselves.

Most of the virality of the video seemed to come from conservative media reacting to the initial, made-up outrage.

Watch out Vince Vaughn! If you're not careful, Twitter might just say some more mean things about you.

It seems that when Elon Musk isn't being a weird white nationalist sycophant for our incoming president, he's being a bit of a jerk to his colleagues—according to those who shared Studio 8H with him at Saturday Night Live, anyway.

Back in August, SNL cast member Bowen Yang revealed that a certain celebrity host made "multiple cast members cry." Then just yesterday, after months of speculation, cast member Chloe Fineman revealed that she was the cast member in question.
