North Carolina au pair and TikToker Megan Mordaunt shared the hilariously cute video after her young charge requested the instruction manual for an iced coffee maker as her nap time story.

An au pair from North Carolina was in stitches after the three-year-old girl she looks after asked for a nap time story with a caffeinated twist.

Megan Mordaunt posted a hilarious TikTok video of her unconventional storytelling, with the little one nestled in her bed with pillows featuring the Disney princesses Ariel and Cinderella.

Instead of reading to her about how a mermaid found her prince or about a lost glass slipper being reunited with its rightful owner, Mordaunt read the instructions from an iced coffee maker manual to lull the girl to sleep.

And it was the toddler who insisted on the "story."

Here is the clip.

Mordaunt told People magazine:

"At first I could not stop laughing when she asked me but managed to calm down when she kept saying 'Meg Meg, read the story.'"

She recalled the moment they deviated from their daily routine.

"Every day when we’re getting ready for nap time, I let her grab two books from her bookshelf in her room for me to read to her."
"However, on this specific day, she clearly somehow remembered the iced coffee instructions manual she must have spotted lying on the kitchen counter while standing on her kitchen step ladder."
"She then beelined for the kitchen, grabbed it and handed it to me saying 'Meg, Meg read this one."

Mordaunt explained this was the first time the girl made such an odd story request, but admitted it wasn't surprising, given the child's "incredible imagination."

Said Mordaunt:

"She's a very intelligent child, although she is still too young for us to establish whether or not she is into mechanics or not."
"What we do know is she's super creative and she does and says the funniest things sometimes."

TikTokers agreed the child was hilarious.

In response to the video going viral, with over three million views, Mordaunt said it "blew me away," adding:

"I found it funny, which is why I posted it."
"Although just after I had posted I thought to myself 'I wonder if it’s just me who thinks this is funny,' "
"It was only when I posted it on my Instagram Story and received so many replies that I decided to post it on TikTok."

Sweet cold brew dreams, little one.

Melania Just Held A Bizarre Press Conference To Debunk 'False Smears' Related To Jeffrey Epstein—And Everyone Had The Same Response

First Lady Melania Trump had everyone thinking the same thing after she held a bizarre press conference on Thursday to deny that she had anything but casual ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the late disgraced financier, pedophile, sexual abuser, and sex trafficker.

Mrs. Trump publicly denied any ties to convicted sex offenders Epstein and his procurer Ghislaine Maxwell, saying claims linking her to Epstein are “lies” meant to damage her reputation. She said she met her husband, President Donald Trump at a New York City party in 1998 and did not meet Epstein until 2000, contradicting a witness statement in the Epstein files that alleges Epstein introduced the couple.

Dem Rep. Sarah McBride Perfectly Shames Nancy Mace For Her Transphobic Response To McBride's Condemnation Of Trump

Delaware Democratic Representative Sarah McBride pushed back at South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace after Mace responded with transphobia to McBride's criticism of President Donald Trump's genocidal threat to kill the "whole civilization" of Iran.

Trump has insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.

Comedian Explains How Millennials' Midlife Crises Are Different From Past Generations—And He's Spot On

Don't make promises you cannot keep, unless your goal is to hurt someone.

Millennials know that practically better than anyone. They were fed a long and impassioned series of advice, hyper-focused on the importance of getting a college degree in order to find a good job. They were also force-fed traditionalist ideals of getting married, having kids, and buying a nice house with the money they'd be making from that great job, of course.
